Yes! I replaced my 18650 batteries with LIION Wholesale protected button top 3500 mAh 18650 batteries, and I NOR tested the ZX850 battery that came with it, which tested at just over 2700 mAh. My charger didn't fit the ZX850 battery very well.
Memory mode isn't available. The brightness level always cycles through the same three levels, and if you hold the button down for a few seconds, turbo mode is activated. (1000 Lumens)br>This is a fantastic headlamp.
The endcap near the light unscrews, allowing access to the light's charging port. The endcap becomes a sealed cover when screwed back in place. This light has provided me with a great deal of pleasure! It's well-made, simple to operate, rechargeable, and BRIGHT!
When the battery is low, the light dims slightly, but there is a light that eventually flashes red. Another fantastic feature is that it charges. USB- A micro vs. a C. As a result, it will quickly charge. In less than an hour, I went from completely dead to fully functional. And a fully charged battery will last you all day on low or medium settings.

The magnet mount is a one-of-a-kind feature that can be useful in a variety of situations, including mechanics. I like that a rechargeable lithium battery is included, but it can also be removed. This allows for the use of multiple batteries and swapping as needed, as well as the use of CR123 lithium batteries if necessary. The battery can be charged via the USB port on the aluminum body, or directly on the battery with a USB-to-Battery adapter. The headlamp has a C port that allows the user to cycle through the low, mid, and high settings. For me, they're quite bright. The specified 1000 lumens are available in Turbo mode. This is noticeably brighter than high, but depending on whether I needed spot or flood lighting, I believe I would adjust the lens. br>br>A previous reviewer expressed their desire for the headlamp to charge at a faster rate. I've included four images of the charging curve that I sampled. When I received my headlamp, it was clear that it was almost completely depleted. The battery has a capacity of 2600 mah. This is the charging performance of an Anker QC3 charger that I tested. These are excellent in my opinion, especially considering the headlamp's battery life. An extra rechargeable battery could be purchased and swapped to minimize interruptions for someone who requires a faster time to replenish. Simply go ahead and purchase it. I work nights in the oilfield and have owned a number of different headlamps. My favorite headlamp is without a doubt this one. br>br>It has just the right amount of illumination, a nice amount of throw, and a premium feel to it. I like how it's made of metal and how solid it feels. The fact that it makes use of a USB-connected device is a plus. Another significant plus is the ability to charge with C. br>br>It came with two elastic bands: a cloth one and a rubber one, which I find works best on my hard drive. It holds its shape without the use of any additional clamps. I've worn it several times in the rain and it's held up well with no signs of wear. br>br>I have a feeling this one will last me a long time, but it's so well made that I'm thinking about getting a second one just in case they stop making them or become difficult to come by. I would recommend this headlamp to anyone looking for a high-quality light source.
The auto dimming mode on this product is available. This means that the light only works for about 45 seconds to a minute at full 1000 lumens before dimming to medium power automatically. This feature, as far as I can tell, has no override. Coast did not respond when I contacted them. EXTREMELY ANNOYING!.
I'd give it more than 5 stars for battery life because it's an amazing piece of engineering. It's a little heavy for a runner, causing discomfort on long runs of 15 miles or more, but nothing compares to the battery life (which is essential for what I'm training for), and the luminosity. A flood light is not required for trail running. We need to know where we're going and how we're going to get there. Thank you very much! My hunt for a dirt trail light has come to an end. And it's made in the United States, which is a big plus.
It's small and rechargeable, which I like. However, it was the ease of use that drew me to purchase it. I'm sick of all the cheap Chinese headlamps with seventeen different modes, including strobe and SOS, and which appear to be communicating with alien ships or something; I'm not sure what I'm talking about. When was the last time you called SOS for help? Who knows how to communicate in Morse code from the early 1800s? Simply turn on and off the light for me. A disco ball strapped to my face isn't necessary for me. It's basically done with this headlamp. It continues to go on, on, on, on, on, on, on, on BRIGHT and OFF are two words that come to mind when I think of the word "bright When the headlamp is turned on, you can press the switch for a long time to activate super bright mode for a short time. br>As an added bonus, the headlamp can be removed from the head strap and used as a regular right angle flashlight, or even attached to metal surfaces using the integrated magnet. I've included a photo of it next to my Coast inspection light to show how big it is. The inspection light and the regular ON setting are about the same brightness. Super bright mode produces a lot of light. I'm not sure how many lumens it produces, but it's a lot better than the cheap headlamps I bought for my kids. br>The cost exceeds my expectations, but it is well worth it. I like that it can be recharged and that I don't have to go out and buy a special charger for it.
This headlamp is fantastic, and I especially like the magnet on the end and the fact that it is rechargeable. I use it all the time at work, and at night I simply plug it in and store it on the side of my toolbox to charge when I need it. The battery, on the other hand, lasts for a very long time. The light shines brightly and the magnet is strong. I work all day beneath buses and can either wear this on my head or put it on something metal underneath the bus if I can't or don't want to. This is fantastic! I'm not sure if it's waterproof, but it's held up well when I've accidentally gotten it wet.
I have a lot of Coast products in my collection. For professional painters looking for minor flaws, their "true beam" pattern is a must-have. This is without a doubt one of my favorites. When used at maximum brightness, the battery lasts all day. And because the rechargeable batteries are only $20 from coast to coast, I'll be able to go several days without having to look for a charger.
