There was a comment that said you cannot put hot water in the water dispenser. But what about cold water?

My name is Jaime and I am glad you are interested in our McDavid Back Ice Wrap. Thank you. If the lid leaks out when it's placed on your body, the brace is supposed to hold ice, but it may leak water when it's placed on your body. Although the weather is cold, standing with a packet of ice press against your back is uncomfortable
3/5

In regard to the McDavid Ice Pack Wrap, I have a few thoughts. In the first place, it is an unisex shirt, so it may not fit some. Maybe if you are quite large (like the guy shown in the picture). My response to the image is that I find it to be The main reason I thought it would fit is because it is in line with my experience. A muscly man is shown in the photo. I have a much worse back than his, so I should be able to work. Depending on the pants, I have a waist between 38 and 40 inches. A doctor describes me as tall and slender because of my height of 6'4". It doesn't come close to fitting me into this thing by more than 2 inches. If this is meant to be worn on the ribs (which the box says it can be done) and still breathe, I do not see how I could do it. Also, it uses ice in what is basically a built-in cold pack (you can take it out if you'd like and you have no need to except to clean it if you wish). Having ice cubes press against the curves of your back can be uncomfortable when the angles press against your back that's before you take into account the weight of a pack I am not referring to a gel pack that you freeze, which will squish up to some extent against your body when frozen. Therefore, when wearing this, you can't lay down, and you can't lean back too much. It would defeat the purpose to do so if it were painful. Do you have any plans to move? Yes, of course. In a chair, do you sit upright? Yes, I agree. The bag is uncomfortable even when standing upright, so I'm wearing it as I type this. In addition, I did not come close to filling up the ice pack's space. In the photo there appears to be no bulge, which implies that there isn't any ice in the pack. In addition, there is a bulge when it has ice in it. It would also probably fit me much better if I took the ice out, but then it would not be a wrap for ice packs. It's hard to hold a cold pack against the spot that hurts, particularly when it's your back 2) I think the idea is great, since it's hard to hold a cold pack against the spot that hurts The problem is both that it 1) is not very big and 2) it does not function as intended, since it is not as comfortable as a gel pack. The overall rating is three stars, which puts it closer to "meh" than "okay. ". There is no doubt that it works. The picture looks great on the website, but the description of the room does not match what I actually found to be true.

This ice pack is great for use without your hands
3/5

The leak begins after several hours, but stops after a few days. Wrapping ice packs in this is a great idea. The ice pack is fairly large and holds a decent amount of ice. I like that the hole to put the ice is large enough to fit regular ice cubes in it. The fabric is very stretchy for a variety of body sizes (one size fits most). In the past, I have needed to melt the cubes that my ice tray makes before fitting them through the opening for ice packs. The velcro is strong enough to hold the wrap in place, but it's not nearly as durable as Velcro. There are enough snags in this fabric to damage Additionally, I like how it is a hands-on experience Free of charge. As I was walking with my toddler I twisted my back (not sure what) and I had to wear this long sleeve shirt to alleviate the pain so I could move around so I could I had one big problem with the pack it began to leak after a short time (which happened because I didn't wear it the whole time, but rather I took it on and off). Every so often, I would feel dribbles of water down my back, but they were not consistent. This noise can clearly be heard coming from the top of the cap. The situation is pretty disappointing, I'm not sure what happened there.

The jelly ones are so much more effective These things are filled with stuff! As I ordered this wrap, I was worried that I would not be able to wash it It is better-than Since I have a svelte appearance (over 200 pounds), the belt would not fit
5/5

I do, the ends just barely overlap about an inch, but the grip is so strong that I cannot open the belt even when I sit down. I'd like to have an ice pack on my back that feels like a "real" one. There were jellyfish in those jellyfish It's impossible to secure filled cold packs, they warm up too quickly, and they produce moisture when they thaw. This is the old, old fashioned way. The black knot you see in the illustration is usually the top of the ice pack. This is how an ice pack is put into the back of a belt. Capacity of the ice packs is quite good, about the same size as a typical ice pack used by adults. In addition to the relief from the ice, you also experience several hours of pain I am experiencing some pain due to a fractured coccyx right now, so my pain is worse than what I have A cold compress is more effective for relieving it than a hot compress Here's the review It is a counter-antibiotic As a result, I have experienced less inflammation than when I have taken opioid medications. By applying this ice treatment I rarely have to resort to something stronger, and the main condition stays at a manageable level. If you have normal back aches, you can probably get away with this.
The only disadvantage of the old model is that The problem with traditional ice packs is that they must be drained well before making them fully sealed to prevent mold growth within them. What I do is hang the ice pack over the shower with the opening facing As of now, I don't have any concerns about mold since I use it every day. Hanging upside down for a couple of days should clear my head once I'm well and don't have to use it. I think this isn't a big deal considering the quality of the service it renders and how well it works.

It is absolutely brilliant and extremely easy to combine an icing bag with a compression wrap! There are some products that seem so natural and obvious that after viewing them you wonder how you didn't think to do it The body is naturally designed to adapt to changes, so adding wheels to luggage is much easier than lugging heavy luggage around an airport
5/5

Icing is the usual method for reducing inflammation after muscle injuries. In the past, I have applied various gel packs to my body in a stationary position or tried to easily tie bandage wrap around them. These McDavid packs combine compression and icing in an intuitive, attractive The icepack part can be pushed out of the elastic surrounding it by unscrewing the top. Place the ice in the bag, place the wrap over the bag, then tighten the gas cap. I like how the lid looks. This wrap holds securely when used as ice cubes melt because of the fine threads and silicone seal to prevent leakage. The velcro on the top secures the wrap while the ice cubes melt. The set comes in a sturdy box that has a sleeve over it to keep the contents protected I get really tired at work, and I regularly have to ice my lower back or knee or elbow or wrist due to overexertion or just fatigue. Every one of those areas is covered in a specific pack. When not in use, these wraps take up quite a bit of space in storage. However, they are truly terrific. This is a highly recommended read.
