I guess I'm right. I don't get any gear in my bag. As a surprise, I bought this for my husband and thankfully he not only caught that part, but I also ordered a kit with lots of items in it that I did not like the bag for, so I still ordered this one.
It is true. In order to allow users to customize for specific applications, we don't include supplies.
Fit should be no problem. The insides of it are pretty deep.

Group or organization. This is not the case. I thought this bag was looking really nice in the description, but it didn't live up to my expectations once I got my hands on it. There are pockets on it, but it's mostly just a large, open space to throw everything in. If it had pockets it would be perfect, but it doesn't, so it'll just be a big empty space. First responders need everything to be organized and easily accessible because they cannot take time to sort through their bags during an emergency situation. My main motivation for returning it was because it clearly is not designed with an AED in mind, which is absolutely necessary to my system. In terms of an emergency pack, I think this bag is not designed for such use. If you're just looking for a bag to throw basic first aid supplies in, then this is the bag for you.
My bag has been with me for several months now, and I have enjoyed using A lot of zips and unzips have happened to this bag because it's gotten wet, set down in mud, and spent time in the hot sun. With its ample capacity for a good amount of first aid supplies, this bag is neither too heavy nor too large Zipped doors are strong and easy to slide. I have not had problems with leaks or damp supplies due to the base of the bag which has feet and a strong bottom. Aside from this, the unit stand very upright by itself. If set down, it does not sag or fall over. Your supplies need to be organized inside this larger bag, so you'll need to buy some small bags. A very reasonable price for a very good product.
My bag is great as it holds all my gear except my C collars, but the first time I picked it up, the handle broke off.
There is a lot of heavy duty material used in this pack. The bag has a lot more storage than most first aid bags, and it is very easy to carry if you need to go to a person in distress in a remote area. When the pack is upright, I like how the front opens and lays flat, making it easy to access the contents. The additional smaller bags are a good idea to organize your gear inside. However, the downside of this product is that it is produced in China just like many items today. While that is true, this is still a great product. It would be great to see the manufacturer move production to the United States. The people who buy gear like this usually are in a position to spend a lot of money on it.
I am really in love with this bag - A nurse at a camp has asked me to use her services It has only one downside at the end of the first two or three days of use- There is a problem with the zipper pulls. That is such a bummer!.
His career as a firefighter/EMT spans over 25 years and he has been married to me for over 20 years We purchased this bag to be used as the hockey team's medical bag while on the road. It may not last a whole season, or it may be difficult to carry, or it may not be easy to organize. In spite of hauling thousands of miles as we traveled all over Alaska and Canada for a 10 month seasonal job, this bag held up well. There are 48 lower 48 states in the United States. A big plus is that it is easier to organize, holds a lot, is comfortable to carry, and it lasts a long time. The new look is still intact.
This bag is awesome! There was a problem with the one I originally received. I received one that had a partially visible handle at the top? It was replaced quickly and at no cost by Amazon. This is an awesome product that I use every day! Its weight makes it easy to organize, and it is heavy. My plan is to use this for a long time. We appreciate the help of Ergodyne & Co. The Amazon website.
One of my EMT buddies introduced me to this bag he uses it for the first aid kit he carries in his trunk, so now I do as well. The ergodyne internal pouches come in handy if you decide to pick up this bag. It's a really nice bag with plenty of storage and feels quite well built.
