I'm here. If you use rope, you can tie it directly to the bag, or you can use a carabineer. It is a gift for you to receive a carbine.
I would say just the rope and strap. For a test run, our dog fit into it easily and it worked for escaping from the second floor. A rope longer than this will be necessary for anything higher.
The product is excellent!
Attaching the carabiner to the bag handles will prevent it from slipping out of your hands and lowering. You must wrap the rope around your back to prevent it from slipping out of your hands.

The weight of 38 pounds was placed on the scale. Taking the child from the strap and placing it in the bag. There is a seam rip in the bag! The attached picture shows how this is done.
There is too much flimsiness to the bag. This product is likely to hold 10 lbs. (Best case scenario) 15 pounds. There are WAY too many spaces between the mesh sections. You should be careful not to allow children to stick their limbs through the mesh spaces between sections if you plan to use it for children. Arms and legs can be very dangerous if they get tangled in the mesh while they are being lowered down the building's side. Unless you are planning to use this for a small pet, DO NOT use it! It's possible for a small pet to get stuck and tangled at the mesh spaces because they're big enough to stick their heads through. They will get their necks and heads trapped in the mesh if they try to escape the bag if they are afraid. This is a super dangerous situation! It would be great if this product was made safer and more effective.
There is a description on the box that says the box can support up to 100 pounds, but it should have more information about it if your dog is seriously obese. The reason we got this was in case our boxer had to be evacuated from the top floor during a fire, and she is about 2x too tall and weighs only 60 pounds to fit in it. Therefore, if you have a bassett hound or a bulldog which is small but dense, or maybe 5- to 10-pound, don't worry about it The number of chihuahuas would be six, so twelve would be appropriate I think it would work if there were 20 small cats. However, it will not work for dogs that are medium in height or larger.
There is a difference between the picture and the actual item. The bag is all there is, just a bag with no support at the top, sides, or bottom. The quality of the materials appears to be quite high, but the overall design is inadequate. section with lattice is covered with lattice, but there is no mesh or screen beneath I would hesitate putting a child in a hole that can hold two cats one crawled out right away and another got its head stuck, or worse. As the sides and top of the bag frequently collapsed when one or two calm cats tried to get in, it would be nearly impossible if there were an emergency. As soon as I put the 22 lb cat in the bag, the bottom sagged from his weight, the sides collapsed in on themselves, and he was completely lost, which is not easy to do with a 22 lb cat. Cat of the Norwegian Forests. In the product description, it states that a bed pillow can be placed in it. But the pillow didn't work much for me. In order to be usable, the bag needs support at the bottom, sides and top, it is not like the square, robust bag featured in the picture.
A few of my window exits are a long way down from the distance I live on an upper level apartment. I have a two-story fire escape ladder, but my cats are now full grown and weigh more than 12 pounds each so I won't be able to carry them down. As a precaution, I needed a bigger bag or carrier for them to be transported safely. I am pleased with the quality of the bag and the length of the rope. The bag was tested to see if my two cats could fit in it and if it would hold up to weight. Two 12lb cats can fit in the bag without it being too bulky. It took a few seconds for both of them to fit in because the opening is a bit small. I am able to get them down safely too, so that provides me with some peace of mind.
The ISOP fire already provided me with Escape ladders, so I got the Firebag for kids as well. In the house, this is of utmost importance! A bag like this is a must have for anyone with animals or kids.
Being able to let my dog out in case of a problem makes me feel more secure about being able to get out of my condo as quickly as possible. There was always one thing I was worried about! As I have a ladder, I can use it However, I had no idea how I was going to get my dog out! When I was a kid I used to think I would wrap him in a sheet and lower him out first to see if he got out on the way down! He will, however, be safe now that he has this escape carrier! The handle is a good one, not too heavy, and it is easy for me to lift him out. I'm so glad I found this! We are so thankful for this company to be a part of Amazon! FINALLY I found the solution to my problem!.
It's received rather quickly, and appears to be in good condition. A quality product.
