It sounded really good, but I was hesitant to buy it. The reviews for First Alert wasn't very positive, even though I know the program well and am confident in it. My decision to purchase the product was based on the price point and the ability to test up to 9 samples. It is necessary to pay for each sample's analysis. It was an easy decision because though I only needed two samples, the cost was $15 per sample. Furthermore, the product claimed to provide results within 72 hours. The lab has never gotten back to me. After purchasing a test kit, I followed the instructions to the letter. Having written out a check, I sent it and the test samples to the address listed on the check. Since the check wasn't deposited two months ago and I never heard from the lab, nothing has been done about it.
