Most of the pieces are plastic and have hoses on them, meaning a hard freeze might cause the water in the pipes to expand, which may eventually break Thank you for your help. Since I've only had it installed since the summer, I have not experienced it yet.
secured it to a bucket of water with a five-foot hose, then ran a three-foot hose up to the sink to drain it.
There is a diameter difference that is smaller than that of a garden hose, but I am sure you could MacGyver a connection by using a tube from one diameter to another and closing it tightly
If you want to do it that way, you'd have to use 1/2 hose, then connect it to a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, then to your 3/8 hose. 1/2 is the size of the pump's inlet and outlet. Don't forget to make sure the pump you get doesn't leak the day it arrives. The one I have had a flaw I discovered too late to be able to exchange it for another.

During the seasons of spring and summer, we use our whale foot sink device every day as our primary sink source (connected to a freshwater and a gray 7gallon We love the way it works and how it works like a charm. A lot of care was taken during construction. One star was taken off because it developed a very small split in the surface of the rubber after months of continuous use, which had to be repaired. Their relations with the United States, however, Our customer service experience with BAWD was excellent, and they sent us a Service Kit free of charge The problem has been resolved and everything is working correctly I would recommend this to anyone building their own campervan or RV, and I would also recommend keeping a service kit in the vehicle. This is an easy project to do and a simple fix.
In my comparison, $23 X is higher than $13 It took me two seconds to spot this warning on the comment section when I attached a Marine Foot pump to this Whale. The thought crossed my mind, "Right. ". I assumed that was the reason it was cheaper, etc, but upon further inquiry, I found that was not the case. You might be able to get away with a cheap one. I'm not sure. It is clear that the Whale was Could anyone tell me where I can find a.
My van has an integrated sink, so I installed this pump to supply water to it. As of now, everything is working well. The water is not leaking.
This took only a few minutes to finish, and our power bank is no longer depleted as we now have an easy sink.
Putting up a rainwater sink in my workshop area was on my to-do list. Exactly as I had hoped. It took me a while to decide whether it would be sufficient flow but it turned out to be terrific. If you receive the device before its installation, it will make a lot of noise as it is uninstalled. Installed, it removes moisture from the bottom of a 50-gallon bin while making no sound. It generates huge amounts of pressure that can squeeze out what is trapped in the bottom of the bin. I connected a 6 foot 1/2-inch hose to a 5-gallon rain barrel without any problems. The hose does not allow the water to back up once it is in it. As such, it does not change its status. The first step is to move it from the rain barrel to the faucet, which takes approximately 4 to 5 steps. It takes one or two pumps to have enough water to wash your hands after this. In my mind, a 12-foot boat had appealed to me I can get a volt water pump, but it would be a waste of time and energy since this one will do.
I had this installed into a sink in a van conversion last month. This pump allows the user to pour water from a jerry can into the dishwashing sink. This works really well. A hose clamp was used so there would not be a chance that the hose would pop off and spill jerry can contents.
The foot pump I installed in my camper van is part of my water system. Something that needed no power and was easy to use was what I was looking for. To get the pipes and pump clear, I ran a gallon of water through it once I had everything set up. I was very pleased with the results. A road trip we took turned out to be a waste of money. The water that came out tasted like rubber and smelled of My hope was that it was just the buildup of water in the pipes that caused the bad smell. I pumped more water through, hoping it was just that. There was a strong rubber smell. When I contacted the seller, I asked if there was anything I could do to reduce/eliminate that issue, and they basically told me "no. " I wanted to use this to wash up water, but the smell was so strong that my skin felt In fact, it didn't even work to wash dishes the rubber smell overpowered any dish soap that In order to replace the old pump with a 12volt one, I am switching to a 12volt.
It was a month ago I purchased it and I finally got around to installing Sounds simple, doesn't it? You'll need 1/2-inch hoses for the pump, cut the length you need, plug it in, mount the pump at your preferred angle, After a couple of days, I found half a six gallon tank on the floor of my fortunately unfinished aluminum garage. It has been a while since I took this new pump apart to check for leaks. There was leaking from the diaphragm. It was repaired with plumber's tape and all screws were tightly tightened. There was no sign of a defect in any of the plastic! LEEKS ARE STILL AN ISSUE. The item I bought is brand new, so I do not want to buy a repair kit for it. My current pump is not good, but I'll make due until I find something better!.
