Hello, and thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. The rubber gasket that comes with this shower flow regulator is included. For a more secure seal, use teflon tape to wrap the screws. I hope you found this information useful.
Hello, and thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. When completely open, this shower flow control valve has no effect on the water pressure. When the valve is moved to a different position, the pressure and volume of water are reduced. I hope this has been of assistance.
It is entirely dependent on how the valve is installed. This is a valve that controls the water flow. I've used it to limit the water flow in a shower head, especially when soaping, so that the hot and cold supplies aren't completely shut off, as they would be if the shower valve was closed, and you don't get a burst of cold water when you reopen the shower valve.
A biobidet bbc-270 duo is something I've never heard of. However, the valve is well-made of metal, and if your female and male fittings are compatible, I don't see why it wouldn't work as a shut-off valve. It works great in my shower and is much more convenient than the traditional shut-off valve. On the shower head, there are offs.

Six months ago, I bought two of these flow control valves. In both bathrooms, everything fit perfectly on a standard 1/2' NPT Kohler shower head. br>I placed a second order for two to be installed at a friend's home. Both pieces appeared to be in good shape, but the female thread became tangled after the first few stitches. I found the male thread after measuring it. 005" smaller than the nipple of a shower; The thread was free of visible burrs when examined under a magnifying glass. I sacrificed one by screwing it into a known 1/2" nipple, which caused it to bind up tightly and require force. Note that the threads were covered in teflon tape. While they appear to be correct and well made, I can only conclude that the male thread is incorrectly cut for a standard 1/2 NPT fitting. br>These were replaced two days later with the same result. Due to an obvious quality issue that renders them useless on this set of fittings, I am unable to recommend these.
Water flow can be started or stopped, and it can be sped up or slowed down. When the lid is closed, there is no dripping. This is fantastic. br>br>Begin/stop or accelerate/decelerate the flow of water. When turned off (in the closed position), there is no dripping and no noticeable loss of water pressure. When lathering up with soap, this is a great way to save water. No more annoying and time-consuming resetting of the cold/hot water mixture at the main tap, and no more running out of hot water while showering because I let the water run the entire time from start to finish (a race to see if I could rinse off before the water got cold: ) ). br>br>I attached this device to the bottom of my handheld sprayer for quick and easy access while showering or cleaning miscellaneous items in the bathtub with the handheld sprayer. Until a few days ago, I had no idea this kind of thing existed. What a difference it makes, oh, what a difference. It functions admirably. I'm going to get another one for the other bathroom. br>br>Andle Simple, thank you for your hard work.
This is a fantastic alternative to the flow restrictors that are now required in shower heads. The water pressure in our shower is adequate. With the flow restriction piece in place, volume was a joke, so I removed it. Unfortunately, I came across flow. With our high water pressure in our area, the pressure is too high; a waste of hot water The addition of this control valve prior to the shower head, as well as the removal of the flow restriction piece, now allows for variable flow control. conservation of water!.
These were purchased for use as a spray head on a jetted tub. The previous head had a sprayer valve similar to that found in a kitchen sink. It broke because it was constantly under pressure, and I couldn't find another sprayer with the adjustable spray patterns and other features that I wanted. This valve worked perfectly. br>br> It was simply screwed onto the sprayer hose, and a regular shower spray head was screwed into it. br>br>I've only had it for about a month, but it's been great so far- There are no leaks, and it's still simple to open and close the valve.
My new Moen shower valve kept leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and leaking and There was nothing Moen could do to stop it. The leak was quickly stopped thanks to this simple on/off valve. I was concerned about the reduced water flow because this uses a gate instead of a ball type of flow valve. When in the open position, only half of the valve is open, but the water flow is just as strong as it was before installation. Our dark Roman Bronze finish was almost perfectly matched by the black color. And what if you want to conserve water? It's great for turning off the water while you're doing the dishes. I'm so relieved the leak is no longer a problem.
It easily attaches to my shower head and can also be used as a hand held shower head. One of those came in the mail today - On the temperature control valves, there is only one power source. The water pressure was excessively high. Mean is able to easily adjust the flow as a result of this. I also use it to turn the hand held off and on with doggie showers - so that no water is wasted and the water jet is directed in the right direction It has a nice nickel finish that isn't too noticeable. It was simple to adjust and I was very pleased with the results.
The shower head I use is a Kohler TS10276. Note: The shower head is easily threaded onto the arm without the use of a valve. Both ends were taped with teflon tape. Even without the tape, the head would not screw on the valve. br>The valve did a good job of regulating the water flow, but it's useless if I can't attach the head. I'm not sure if it's a Kohler or a valve problem, but the end result is the same for me.
6 days ago, I installed this item. Installation time is 3 minutes. There is no need for teflon tape. So far, there has been no leakage. The water flow can be easily adjusted using the control lever. Ideal for turning on and off the water without having to re-adjust the temperature control knob while showering. The main reason I purchased this item was to prevent the shower head from dripping.
