I installed it after the blend valve in the wall and before the shower head outside the wall, so I don't see why not. In a tub/shower unit, I had a pull-up shut-off valve that didn't completely shut off the water.
I purchased one of these to replace a push button model that was extremely difficult to use. This worked perfectly and was a lot easier to use. We had a pesky drip when we were just trying to fill the tub, and this took care of it. It is completely effective.

I bought it for my son's shower, which has a three-tiered design. His shower, handheld, and tub faucet each have a three-way valve. When the tub faucet was turned on, the shower would run just a little, which was inconvenient because the water would splash in his face and all over the floor if the curtain wasn't closed. This was simple to set up and completely disabled the shower head. It's a simple slide switch to turn on if he wants to take a shower. Low, medium, and high are the different levels of difficulty. br>It was simple to set up and did exactly what it was supposed to. It appears to be dripping for a short time in the video, but then it stops. br>Pipe thread tape was used. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but it appears to help prevent leaking at the threads, and it was inexpensive and simple to do. (Who am I to say?) Please note the following disclaimer: I'm just a single mom who works in healthcare, so I have no experience with plumbing. I'm just trying to figure things out on my own and sharing what I've learned. br>I'll use it in my shower as well because the pressure is too high and stings at times!.
) installation, the shower drip was fixed, and it was simple to open and close while showering. I've had a dripping shower for quite some time, and I replaced the cartridge, but it didn't work. By far the most cost-effective next step was taken. In every way, it's a success. The shower head was removed, two male threads were wrapped lightly with nylon plumbers tape, and this was threaded into the shower head. line that connects the shower head to the wall pipe It worked perfectly. br>br> It's also simple to turn on and off, according to the partner. There's a built-in push-button on my RV shower head. valve to shut off the water (a great idea for dry camping and saving water while soaping up), but turning the water on and off required superhuman strength. So, for me, it's a piece of cake. This little marvel installed in a jiffy and is so very easy to turn on and off for my wonderful wife, but it's a game stopper for her. This was an excellent purchase.
This valve has a "dual-action" feature. scissor- ", for example, an internal valve that rotates open- closed without a hitch When used with a shower or anything requiring less than 3 or 4 GPM, it does obstruct maximum waterflow when fully open, but this is irrelevant when used with a ball valve.
These were purchased in order to control the high water pressure in our new home. My wife, on the other hand, does not like being put under pressure. These allow us to customize the pressure of the shower head to our preferences. The lever is smooth to operate, and the nickel finish matches our Delta fixtures perfectly. My only gripe is that the rubber gasket that came with two of the three I ordered was of poor quality or was damaged. As a result of my installation, there were a lot of leaks. A quick trip to the hardware store and three good quality gaskets ($2) were all it took. 50) resolved the problem, but it was a trip I hadn't planned on taking.
Overall, this unit is satisfactory; it is durable and functional. The washer that came with it, on the other hand, had a gap in it. It causes a leak once installed, so I'm not sure if it's a defect or just bad design. I was lucky enough to have another washer on hand, but if you buy this, you might want to get one as well.
Despite the fact that my hands were soapy. The majority of shower wands with built-in controls are too complicated to use. With limited hot water, the addition of this valve makes saving and conserving it a breeze.
a flow control device It only takes a minute to put this together, and the sliding controller is very smooth. It's a solid, well-made product. I would recommend this to anyone; it is tooled and shuts off completely without effort. It's absolutely fantastic.
