Yes. The small metal rod that fits into the rotating portion of the cartridge is included. The handle then slides over that, and the handle is held in place by a small hex screw at the bottom.

No, it didn't.br>I had to return this item because it didn't fit the valve I had installed.

It's extremely simple to set up. Before placing an order, make sure you know what kind of shower valve you have. I did, and I had it up and running before the Amazon delivery guy even made it out of the neighborhood.

This trim piece has a very modern look to it

This is a gorgeous and ultra-sleek trim piece! It is also compatible with older Pfister valves. The price is reasonable, and the quality is exactly what you would expect from such a reputable firm. My only quibble (and it's a minor one) is that the finish is more polished than brushed nickel, with a gold hue. It doesn't go with any of my other brushed nickel fixtures, but it's so lovely and modern that I don't mind! Really, there aren't enough words to describe this piece. I'm head over heels for you.

It's perfect for bringing my old Pfister up to date

The shower in the basement of the house we just bought had some really old hardware in it, and when we removed it, there were no markings on it except "CBA. " When I looked it up online, it turned out to be a Pfister cartridge. This shower handle was a perfect fit, and the installation was simple and quick.

I spent a significant amount of time on the phone with PP Customer Service discussing a handle change for an old Price Pfister shower fixture, and I got a part that wouldn't fit using customer service's guidance

I was presented with a variety of handle options and instructed to order two parts. I chose a handle and backplate, as well as the "required" adaptor. Because neither fit the shower nor the other part, I ended up donating $90 worth of plumbing fixtures to my plumber to compensate for wasting his time.

The handle and trim plate appear to be in good condition, but the hex key that came with it is too short, making it difficult to use between the wall and the handle itself
