Questions & Answers
Yes, you do it by turning on the diverter on your tub spout to direct water to the Vero (you should have installed a valve that allows you to control the temperature of the water from hot to cold first so that the water is mixed to the proper temperature). The vero then directs the water flow to your hand-held, overhead, or hand-held and overhead combinations. Remember that your on/off lever, not the Vero 3, controls the tub spout.

Make sure you get the right one for your system before you buy! br>I had to return this because I had purchased the incorrect item. br>The three-dimensional (three-dimensional) Setting Shower Handle Diverter has three settings, not three different options, so it will work if you have body sprayers and a shower head, with the third option being the two at the same time. br>If you want a rain shower, body sprayers, and a hand-held sprayer, you'll need the six setting diverter kit (luckily, it's the same housing and an easy switch).
Although it appears to be metal, it is not. It's called "chrome" for a reason. ish plastic, to be precise. So far, there have been no complaints in terms of functionality, and it has been in use on a daily basis for the past two years.
I just finished installing this trim as part of a bathroom renovation, and while we haven't been able to use the shower yet due to a missing part, I charged the system and tested this valve, as well as the main mixing valve. It has a nice appearance and effectively diverts water. It had to be good for a hundred dollars, right? The chrome has a brilliant sheen to it - no joke. This is mounted above my mixer valve, at chin height - I'd be able to shave in it. Who knows how long that mirror finish will last in the real world, but it's certainly attractive right now.
The return window is too small to tell whether or not it works. For a variety of reasons, successfully completing a renovation project is difficult. Offering shorter than usual return windows for these products is extremely frustrating because it sometimes prevents you from finding an installation contractor who can complete the work before the return window expires.
If you like the style, there's no reason not to buy this product because it works flawlessly, smoothly, is heavy, and feels and looks expensive. I purchased the matching shower valve trim and wrote about a complaint I have with the Delta Vero line as a whole. It's something I'll say again. The only reason I docked a star is because of this. Here's a section of what I wrote about how this unit isn't stainless steel: br>br>With that said, I have a beef with the entire Delta Vero line, as well as their Arzo lines, because they are similar. These components are described as stainless steel in their advertisements. They're not made of stainless steel, to put it that way. at all. These are made of solid brass with brushed nickel accents. The backs of the cover plates bear witness to the plating process. When I first ordered a valve from a different company (which was a terrible experience), the back plate arrived damaged with gashes. Behind the nickel finish, the gashes revealed a goldish brass. Is the product now inferior as a result of this? No, but I believe that mentioning stainless steel at all on this product is false advertising and complete nonsense, as stainless steel cannot even be plate onto brass. So if you're dead set on having everything in your bathroom be solid stainless steel, this isn't the bathroom for you. The only reason I took away a star was because of the deceptive marketing. Let's get this party started, Delta. Gather your wits.
Our contractor and I were working on a tight deadline to find a diverter that matched the rest of our remodel hardware. We came across this one after having trouble finding something in a hurry at the big box home improvement stores. It was delivered quickly, looks great in the room, and we've had no problems with it on a daily basis.
Solid. Heavy. It's lovely. Smooth. Awesome.
Style by a designer It works perfectly, and it has a solid, high-quality feel to it. The only thing that could make it better, in my opinion, is if it could be installed upside down like the matching shower faucet. Given our preferred plumbing configuration, we would have appreciated it.
