I liked how the valve included a diverter. I reasoned that it would save me time when installing tiles by reducing the number of holes I'd have to make. There is very little room for error when cutting tile to fit around, as I believe another reviewer stated. The top area of the trim kit (which must be purchased separately) has very little coverage overlapping onto tile. In addition, due to installation requirements, copper piping to the valve unit appears to only fit behind drywall/wallboard during hookup.
The most common criticism of this product is that the right diverter port cannot be used to connect tubing or pipe for a right-sided faucet or showerhead. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY; it expressly states that this valve cannot be used in a three-setting diverter setup, and it demonstrates how to use it with images. Read the instructions carefully; it will assist you.

If you're going to use two outlets, make sure they're both plugged in. Because this isn't meant to be a tub spout, the right side must be capped.
