Questions & Answers
In both cases, the hoses are made of metal and are 69" inches long. The only difference is the decorative couplings on the hoses, and on the 28139000 hose, the spirals have a thicker wire work.
These are the exact same hoses, except that they are different lengths. There is a 59" hose called the 28417000 and a 69" hose called the 28025000.

The shower hose began to leak at the connection to the bathroom wall after only 4 months of Having submitted two warranty claims directly to Grohe through their web site, I have not received a response after a month (my claims have been made over a month ago). Acustomer service agent told me that I must submit my claim via email after I contacted them. I have used Grohe products at home for several years, but this is the first time I had to make a warranty claim for a defective product. I have been ignored by Grohe regarding my claim. Often, the true reputation of a company is the way they handle a customer's complaint. In light of how Grohe has handled themselves on this matter, I would not recommend any of their products and will not use them going forward.
There can certainly be cheaper ones, but they don't last as long or look as nice as the nicer ones. After replacing the old one I got careless and caught it on the shower spout, causing the outer sheath to kink. This is the reason it cracked and failed.
A cheaper version of this model was purchased from Grohe about nine months ago, but it lasts for only nine months before a leak develops. There is no guarantee that it will last longer than the previous one, but it appears to be much higher quality. Previously, my Grohe hose was installed and lasted for 11 years without any problems.
Exactly what I needed. Compared to the original, this is better. When hot water is applied to the original hose, any memory is gone. There's no problem with this one and it's flexible whenever you need it.
I have had to replace the hose twice in the last eight I would have hoped that they would last longer, but they do hold up rather well. The installation process is easy.
Bright chrome is an eye-catching feature We easily replaced our leaky fixture with a new one with a like finish.
A shower hose isn't going to make me "love" it. In spite of this, it was easy to install, had a nice swivel junction to prevent strain, and was long with a nice appearance. The Grohe that was replaced had a plastic sheath, since our previous one did not. This is what I like most about the stainless steel I like the sleeker look better.
The price I paid was a bit steep for the quality I received. The Hansgrohe 28116000 was ordered from Amazon as a replacement. This is a softer cover with a more durable metal shell and better designed seams. It was made in Germany as well as the Hansgrohe hose I got from Amazon.
