These hoses are quite nice. I like how they color code them for hot and cold water; otherwise, I would have had trouble determining which one went where. It's imperative that the hoses are kept straight. Nobody likes a hose that isn't in the proper position.
However, for the sake of argument, I'll say that one of the pipes in our laundry room was painted red, and I assumed it would carry hot water even though it was on the right side. That was a mistake; it wasn't red because of the water; it was red because a previous owner thought the whole room should be red and was sloppy around the cold line. Anyhow, in reversing them back to their correct pipes, the pipe cracked, and we experienced a major deluge, Because the product was out of stock, the process took much longer than expected, but it was finally completed correctly, and life is good. br>In summary, test the water first and then install before installing, especially in a new location. The lines are fantastic, and I strongly advise you to try them out.
Warranty? What kind of guarantee is there? If the manufacturer does not respond to your messages, it is pointless. I purchased a pair of these hoses to replace some worn-out rubber hoses. The red-orange-orange-orange-orange-orange-orange-orange The straight (not the 90-degree) hose is leaking. The crimp should meet the twistable female hose thread at the 90-degree end. The leak followed the straight end after the ends were swapped. The leak followed the red-colored hoses when they were swapped out. hose with stripes br>br>Alright, no big deal; we've got a ten-person team. a one-year warranty I went to the Shark Industrial website and scrolled down to the "Contact" page to inquire about how to return the faulty hose for warranty replacement. I provided an email address as well as a phone number on the form, which I did - Then I sat back and waited for them to get in touch with me. br>br>Neither an email nor a phone call were received. This request was sent over a month ago, - zero- the manufacturer's response br>br>Wait and see! br>br> There are cheaper, non-warranty hoses that are likely just as good as these more expensive, non-warranty hoses. In this case, I'll simply return the hose that is no longer functional. Set your browser to Amazon and purchase something else - It's pointless to pay extra for a warranty that won't be honored by the manufacturer.
They appear to be of good quality, and I particularly like the 90-degree angled ends, which reduce hose stress. I'm hoping I'll never have to use the 10-minute timer. a one-year warranty This book comes highly recommended.
These hoses appear to be of high quality. I wish they sold 2 foot long ones because I don't need all that hose behind the washer. This appeared to be the most cost-effective option. The material is strong and bends well. It appears that they will outlast the washer. I believe the hose will last longer than the washers. Isn't it recommended that the washers be replaced every 5 years? The black rubber hoses have a more ominous appearance. I have no qualms.
Lines used to come with a set of debris screens. br>The only thing missing is a pair of line screens. To prevent solid particles from reaching the water solenoids, a filter is used.
The cold hose worked perfectly, but the hot hose began to leak. For some reason, the local Staples and other local UPS drop places did not accept returns using the QR code from an Amazon return, so I had to return to an UPS store, which was a little bit of a drive away. As a result, these hoses have become a permanent fixture in my life.
The fact that it has a high-quality inner core appeals to me. Although these have a smaller diameter, I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes because they were made for my Aunt. The other generic stainless steel hoses I've used had rusted pin holes and were leaking.
