It's always hot on the left.
It's hot on the left side.
It is possible to separate it. The two halves come together in the middle. Mine was put together, but I took it apart to examine the seals before reassembling it. It was a breeze.

I'm not giving 5 stars for two reasons: 1) because the title of the listing led me to believe I was ordering a Delta part, which I wasn't; and 2) because listing Delta and the part number was a little misleading on that end. 2) Unlike the Delta part, the hot and cold sides are not very clear, and I initially installed it incorrectly; however, once corrected, it works well, does not leak, and my water gets really hot again- Unlike the Danco part I originally purchased, this one was simple to install.
Excellent value for money!! Identical to the original, which was hard to come by in any store. There hasn't been a leak since I installed it two days ago. br>br>Came on time, with extra security to ensure the valve didn't break, fit perfectly, and was simple to install. br>br>The only suggestion I have for the seller is to make a clear indication of hot vs cold on the blue area, as it was unclear which side it was on; It took three attempts for me to get it correct. Perhaps a sticker or something to help DIY newbies identify what they're working on. Aside from that, it's an excellent product, and I'll be ordering from them again. Thank you! br>br>.
Because of the positive reviews, I bought it. This works just as well as OEM, in my opinion. It has been a few months since it was installed, and the faucet head is still not leaking. This purchase has made me very happy.
It's a good replacement for my Delta bathtub faucet, but you'll have to experiment to figure out which way the cold and hot water flows.
Because the top parts are different, I purchased two new Delta cartridges from Home Depot. They'll need to be remodeled. Unfortunately, despite hundreds of attempts, it has not been successful. It's not going to happen. This is the one I've been looking for. The only problem I had was figuring out how to get to the right side, so I looked for a small letter stop/hot on the top white part and it worked after just one try. br>Excellent product; I'm going to order two more in case I need them again.
5–10 minutes, I'd say.
I bought a Cartridge Replacement Assembly from Delta about ten years ago, but I never used it. Both of our faucets were in need of repair. I purchased the FlowRite Pro Delta Faucets RP19804 Shower Cartridge Replacement Assembly, which is nearly identical to the Delta unit and of excellent quality.
