It was not fun to build a new post frame garage and cut the ribbed steel by hand. I went online and looked for a few different tools to make cutting the ribbed steel easier. I came across a few videos in which they were all using the same tool. So I came across the Metabo/Hitachi nibbler after looking at a few different options. Shipping was relatively quick, and the tool arrived before the missing steel. The operation is fairly straightforward, but all you need to do now is get the tool in your hands and start using it. Because it is not a straight line cutting tool, it takes some getting used to. The more you use the tool, the better you will be at controlling it, just like anything else. The cuts are very clean; the only drawback I've noticed is that it enjoys making a mess with the nibblets. It consistently cuts small half moon shapes; I wouldn't recommend wearing shoes to avoid getting the small pieces of steel in your foot. In general, this is a useful tool. Amazon provides quick delivery. We'll see how well it holds up under pressure.

It's almost as good as corded in terms of quality

It really works. I ordered a larger battery because the 3 ah batteries don't last very long, but it's a lot lighter than corded and will get you out of a jam if you don't have access to electricity.
