It does not turn easily, in my opinion. If you try, you're more likely to break your nose.

Very nice, but I'm afraid that if the Amazon community/LEFT disagrees, my review or comment will be censored.
This is an excellent program. I bought it because of the cordless operation and because it came highly recommended by others. It's what we use to put up pole barns, and it glides right through the ribbed metal panels like butter. Cutting across metal roof ribs to create window and door openings is simple. This is something I'm glad I purchased.
I should have bought one of these a long time ago. It's fantastic over ribs on ag- The panel is made of 29 gauge material. It uses a lot of batteries, so I bought an adapter to use my old ones, and I'm glad I did! With a 4ah 20v battery, you get about 12 rips of 3' panel before it slows down and needs to be changed. If I were only going to do one project or build, I wouldn't buy this, but if you cut panels on a regular basis, this is the best!.
This is yet another of Makita's best-selling tools. It's ideal for applying to ribbed steel. Cuts much faster than expected and is relatively quiet. I also purchased their straight-cut sheers, which made my job a lot easier and was well worth the money.
This is a fantastic tool.
I needed to cut thick aluminum, and this nibbler did an excellent job of it. I used to use a sawzall and a jigsaw, both of which would kickback or leave scratches, dents, and were difficult to use. It's now safer, faster, and easier to nibble with this nibbler.
It performs admirably and is battery friendly. I have both the corded and cordless JN1601, and the cordless one isn't as fast as I had hoped. It works great, and I no longer have to lug around a 100-foot cord.
I should have gotten one a long time ago. What a great way to save time. I can't even imagine how much money I've lost over the years.
