Questions & Answers

Does it come in stainless steel of 1mm?

However, I have not tested cutting stainless steel with it yet, so I cannot answer your question without having cut a sample, but all of the other metals I have cut with it, like roofing tin, steel mash, and others, have been cut

What are the options for removing the handle?

On the right hand side of the tool, you will see little metal pieces that go into a drill like drill bits or Phillips bits. Cutting heads are the odd-shaped items on the left side of the picture. In order to remove the metal sheared off by the cutters, you must press the trigger on the drill and place the little thing in the top right corner and hold it firmly. If you do not, the cutters will not be able to work properly. For the function for which the tool was purchased, the tool will simply spin around at 900 rpm. Having created a new type of weapon with 1200 rpm, you have invented a new type of A very good tool in this category is not something the government should be trying

Is this an option for framing made from cold-formed steel? What do you mean by cutting the studs, track, etc.?

There isn't enough room for the jaw to open. With steel studs, it wouldn't work though. Additionally, it works best on flat or very slightly rippled sheet metal.

An excellent piece of software
5/5

The shipyard where I work employs me as a carpenter. I am a metal expert, as I learn to cut, bend, and assemble materials such as galvanized steel sheets and stainless steel for Electric shears and snips had been used to cut the sheet metal in our shop. Due to inappropriate use of the shears, the electric shears wore out very quickly, and even with the snips, I found it difficult to cut long pieces quickly. After shopping for a while, I picked up these Malco TS-35 MP3 players I bought 1 pair of shears at work and had worked on cutting an angle in a stainless ceiling panel when my boss came in and saw the result within a short time frame he immediately ordered three more. It is unfortunate that improper use can quickly wear down the blades. It has been a while since I The three shop TS-1 has served me well for over a year and has never let me down, even after hundreds of cuts. These 1s are already dull and cause wavy cuts both on the front and the back. With the TS-250, you can In order to keep either the cut ends or the piece you keep, you must cut in the correct direction. On the LEFT side of the cut, the good piece should be. result in a neat, clean cut with very few waves in contrast to the right side that looks rather In addition, the TS-I The offset snips in 1 behave just the same way In order to ensure that the material lays flat on the blade, the blade of the left hand side should be slightly tilted to the right.

Metal of 20g cannot be handled by this device
3/5

Only 3' of 26g had been used when mine died. There's no way this would be able to cut 20 gauge, but in theory this is a nice tool for cutting thin aluminum or perhaps thin duct, but in reality it isn't exactly well suited to this task. As you can see from the photographs I uploaded, I attempted to cut old 26g galvanized metal barn siding using the tool. The tool was easy to use, although it was a little complicated when it came to the settings. The 2x6 you can see in the pictures is a guide and I was hoping to cut off the bottom of it so I can attach a header to Even though the tool was slow, I didn't mind because I was striving for a neat However, the red handle would slip off occasionally, but otherwise it was no worse than opening a can with I had trouble with the first piece of shed siding about a foot after I started (that was about three feet), and when I got to the second piece of shed siding, the drill was basically bending the metal and straining. Within about 18 inches, it stopped cutting at all and I ended up smoking my 18-volt cordless DeWalt. As for cutting through a car roof, which is usually made of 20 gauge, I wasn't trying to do that. As you can see, I attempted it on a very simple piece of new L-shaped plywood after the disaster I have pictured here A thin layer of flashing cut with a pair of In addition, the tool did not cut the rubber. The rusty siding that was shown in my pictures was actually trimmed with a simple pair of tin-foil caulk The material is not that thick because it was cut with snips. My hopes were really high, but it didn't work at all, and after just a few minutes it was No other option was available to me except to return the item. Normally, that sort of thing does last a while on flat 29g tin, but anything thicker, ridged, or textured will likely ruin the material or whatever power tool you're.

A product that is made in America and My pole shed was being renovated when I installed a steel ceiling
5/5

To make the last row fit comfortably, I had to trim it. The steel used here was 29 gauge and measured a little over 48 feet long. Using a Malco Turbo Shear, the steel was swiftly cut through. As the cut progressed, the performance of the tool did not decrease. In order to drive the shear, I used a motorized 3/8" corded right angle drill. This tool beats the pants off of using a Wiss metal shear. A little distortion and marking were evident near the cut, but not to the point where my trim molding wouldn't hide it.

A nibbler is a good tool to use if you need to cut bent metal
5/5

This is a great flat for a city. It was a video about the new dewalt sheer attachment that led me to purchase the sheer In the reviews about the dewalt, several people mentioned that the tool was durable. Malco is a better choice if your Dewalt is no longer a reliable tool. Checking out their reviews led me to this conclusion. They are awesome. I got to try them out for the first time today. cut through the metal I was cutting like butter. (I'm not sure of the gauge, but for me to put a crease in it, I have to use a hammer. ) The paper can't be smashed down just by folding it. However, my advice would be to look for the upgrade. With the drill clamp, it can be operated with one hand. If you do not have the drill clamp, you need to hold the sheer handle as well. There are however after market drill clamps that work, and that's what I bought. This product would be a purchase I would make again since I already have a drill clamp in my arsenal.

I highly recommend this product! It must be used for sheet metal and/or FRP, Kydex, or Acrovyn
5/5

The idea is to cut frp with this, and I have not had any messy results so far! When using sheers, snips, or scissors, you will often cut a chunk off on either side of the line that you're cutting. Not only does this result in waste, but you also have to clean it all up afterward. The things that come with them are very sharp and function very well. There are some tools made by Dewalt that have hard fixes making them harder to operate due to the impact. Due to their floating design, these allow you to cut from either side of the table and move the gun in any direction you like while maintaining a straight cut. As well as cutting sheet metal, they parted the Red Sea just like Moses did!.

This product is useful for metal roof materials
4/5

The metal roof material I had to cut required a bit of cutting. The metal is easily cut with this, but it takes some practice to get used to it. Due to the corrugation on the metal, I recommend that you place it on a firm board on the back, and you might put another board across the top to brace it from vibrating. As a result of the bracing, the material will be stabilized and the cut will be Additionally, refrain from using a drill that can be carried around This is a slow process. You will be able to finish the work more quickly if you use a powered drill.
