It works fairly well for going down, but where your corrugated goes up, you will have a problem, since you won't be able to tilt it down far enough.
That's not all it does - it cuts sheet metal

I would recommend this. Those are some nice During a tornado, my father's sheds were damaged. I bought this tool, which will enable me to fix some of those sheds. Metal and tin roofing had to be replaced for the most part. Straight cuts are easily made with this tool, and it cuts cleanly. In the process of cutting, the tool removes a thin metal strip. The blade probably has this feature to keep it from warping the metal that it cuts. It has difficulty cutting across Our circular saw blade had holes cut out of it so we had to use that to make the majority It was solely based on the costs and the amount of the required projects that I decided to use this tool instead of a nibbler. I'm a big fan of Makita tools, and this one isn't an It would be recommended.
They are a bit smaller than I had expected which is good because I was worried by the pictures. They are nice and portable in addition. The blade only cuts straight lines, does not scribing. It may be able to go through bends, but it's not really designed for it. What this machine is designed to do is produce quick, straight, clean cuts in sheet metal, and for that reason it works During the cutting process, metal strips form on the edges of the sheet metal to prevent deformation. The fact that it says I have to lubricate the blades after each use is annoying. 18 guage should not pose an issue to cut since it seems mild. We're not sure why the lubrication needs to be constant. In general, this tool does a good job overall. Metal roof installers will surely be able to cut edge panels longer efficiently. You will appreciate this tool if you have 25-foot standing seam panels to cut up to full length. For this use case, you should check out the Malco edge roller as well for bending the edges up.
This tool is easy to use when you have a key on hand to rotate the head. It only obtained 4 stars because you need one for rotating the head. In order to show your apprentice who the boss is, you have to demonstrate speed and skills. In the millwaukee unit, you can rotate the head by a lever, in the Makita unit, you must unscrew a bolt completely, rotate the unit, then screw the bolt back into place. I think they're still better than the ones in Milwaukee, though.
Because I did not realize this, I don't believe it will cut over the ribs of ProPanel metal roofs. My favorite tool for ripping metal to size is the Makita Nibbler, but I use the Makita Scanner for length cuts. I have tried a lot of different cutting methods and this combo is by far the best for me.
It works very well. I can't believe how much time it saves on the job site.
I wish I had tried it out first.
The perfect solution for my needs.
I can cut 26 gage as easily as The tool is good. The quality of Makita.
