The Kett 100 I replaced was over 20 years old and I think this product is a good replacement. The motor was working almost every day in an autobody shop during that time. There is a new one that is stronger and is able to cut thicker metal sheet metal like it was I won't live as long as it does if it lasts as long as the other. We thank you for this great product that looks as if it was made in the U. S.
THE TOOL IS NICE As stated, the maximum thickness of steel that can be cut by this cutter is 16 gauge.
It is easy to fix a broken part with replacement parts. The Kett brand is our staple, there are cheaper brands, but they are not as reliable. Kett is your best option if you are looking for quality.
The program works well. It is not causing any problems for me to cut mild steel up to 16 gauge and 22 gauge. I would definitely buy from this seller The tool was manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the United States.
The thickness of the sheet metal is not affected by this. It cuts very well and leaves an edge that is very smooth. Using this tool you can only draw straight lines for curves with very large radius.
KETT is one of the top names for these, and you can't beat the price for them It was my pleasure to use them when I was a union Carpenter installing commercial metal cabinets in hospitals, colleges, and schools.
This is a great sheet metal tool. The tool cuts steel up to 16 gauge.
I picked up these shears to replace an old set of kett I had for 15 years. They replaced an old knife set I'd had for 15 years.
