Is it strong enough to cut 16 gauge stainless steel?

A small piece of mine has been completed. There is no guarantee that a full 48" sheet will be available. The machine would not do 16g steel all day either, just like I would not do it all day. There is a chance it will cut, but it won't be

16ga can be easily cut with this tool. The shipping was on time, the packaging was secure, and the product arrived on time. 990 lbs is the weight of the shear itself. It came in at 1120 pounds after the create. It was a little challenging for me to assemble the few items that came with it since I have never owned a shear this size before. The instructions (if you can call them instructions at all) are completely useless when it comes to assembling your motor. On Amazon, I was able to figure out where the items went by looking at the photo. The assembly process took about 20 minutes as long as you had some basic hand tools on hand. Shear is nice painted and oiled and seems to be made very well. All the moving parts seem to work correctly right from the start. Because the manufacturer claims it will do 16ga, I thought I'd better make the test and see what it is really capable of. The strength I had was 200 pounds and I was able to shear 1/4" strips of mild steel that were 4' wide with almost no effort after just bouncing I am satisfied with my purchase so far, I will update my review if anything changes in the future.
