If you need a "real" screwdriver, this is useless
3/5

Unless you use it on paper, cardboard, or for tiny arts and crafts, this device is completely useless. The bits themselves should've been the first red flag. They're about a third of the size of a regular bit. The bits are unusable with a regular screwdriver, even if the stick itself is trashed. To work with "real" screws and "real" materials like wood and drywall, zero torque is required. Only about a quarter of the pieces are stored in the included storage container. Two of the three bit sets, or one of the three bit sets plus the Wowstick. In fact, the storage container should never have been included because it is completely useless for the entire package and wastes space. There are no durable containers for 3/4 of the remaining pieces (3 total bit sets, 1 stick, charging base, and 6 or 7 small piece "extra" stuff). It came in a cardboard box, which we all know is extremely durable. Many of these pieces will be lost if they are not kept in a container; for what this will be used for, a manual screw driver will suffice. in addition to being $40 less. It might work for small toys or arts and crafts. But, on the other hand, a manual screwdriver can do the job just as well.

Out- performs better than my programmable mini screwdriver, which costs $129! After using this, I'm starting to think that the 'digital programmable screwdriver' gimmick was a waste of money
4/5

I purchased it because I was extremely pleased with their other products. (This is a game-changer) programmable micro soldering iron changer! That's a fantastic piece of equipment! The screwdriver, however, is a different story. Garbage. This, on the other hand, is fantastic! Just enough torque, with a manual clutch for tightening (or loosening) the ends by hand. The forward/reverse buttons are also in the correct location. br>br>The *only* criticism I have is that the LEDs have no delay, which means that the light turns off as soon as you let go of the button to stop the screwdriver. This means that if you're looking for a screw in the dark, you'll have to 'go in hot' with the head turning, and then you'll be plunged back into darkness when you stop it to actually engage the screw head itself. br>br>Wait, what? br>br>Wait, what? A 50 cent timer chip would have taken care of it. br>br>Another thing is that the way they store the bits is a complete waste of time! These obnoxious 'tube things' remind me of the barbisol jars into which barbers used to dunk their combs. You have to take this 'tree' thing out of the tube and then go looking for the pieces. It's a waste of space to store data in this manner. A simple, straight-forward case would have been a far better (and probably much less expensive) solution. br>br>So I have to give it a star for the light and the (stupid) bit storage. However, if you're referring to the actual driver. That thing, on the other hand, is an absolute ace! LOVE it! I wish they wouldn't sell it with those obnoxious extras! (On top of that, I already had them. ).

It is insufficient
3/5

I really wanted to like this product, but it isn't powerful enough for me. br>br>I paid for it to be able to assemble a computer, but it couldn't get a single screw in. So I tried to use it for some RC car maintenance and found that not even the tiniest screw could go in or out. So I tried to open up my PS4 to replace the hard drive with it, but none of the four small screws would turn. There was no other option but to send it back. A more powerful motor is required.

For small electronics jobs, there isn't enough torque
3/5

It should be returned. This came in handy when I had to disassemble and repair a DJI Mavic 2 controller. I expected this tool to excel at a variety of small screws, but it did not. I had to help with the screw removal until they were almost completely out. It's a clumsy procedure that entails: When the motor is unable to move the screw, twist the Wowstick while holding the button until the screw is nearly out and the motor spins it un- assisted. I'm not impressed, so I'm sending it back.

It's fantastic! It appeals to me
5/5

I've only used it a couple of times to turn trim pots and screws on circuit boards. It appears to be effective. It appeals to my tastes. Working on flat-screen televisions was once a hobby of mine. When I was working on my flat screen tv, I would have given anything to have this with the right bits. A LARGE NUMBER OF SCREWS OF DIFFERENT SIZE ARE AVAILABLE. If I had this tool, I could have completed my repair much faster. The best part is that you wouldn't make a mistake with it. removing the screws from the movement of the screwdriver The screw heads can be messed up by a minor wiggle. As a result, this is an excellent way to avoid screw damage. Your work will be illuminated by the LED lights. However, having the option of turning on the light so that you can see your screw after stabbing it with the screwdriver would be far superior. In addition, being able to see the screw type for the correct bit is a plus. However, I suppose you could turn on the motor to see what kind of screw you're dealing with and then select the appropriate bit. An experienced technician would be able to tell you that the light is required to stab the screws prior to turning them. My wife, on the other hand, was so taken aback that she purchased one for her father for Father's Day. 😊👍.

Although it appears to be well-made and attractive, the containment system is ineffective
4/5

This screwdriver has a very cautious feel to it. I bought a Dremel electric driver to build desktops and used an adapter to quickly tear down laptops with precision bits, but even on the lowest torque setting, it felt too aggressive. This is gentle enough that I'm not worried about damaging anything during reassembly. br>br>My main gripe is that the bit containers and "carrying case" are completely incomprehensible. I would rate the case as mediocre if it was held together by more than magnets. I would consider the case useful if it contained all of the bit cylinders as well as the screwdriver, but it only contains one plus the driver. I could see the cylinders being useful if they were watertight, but they have holes in the ends. As of now, I just find the presentation to 100% form prior to function. br>br>On that note, the stand isn't completely stable, but the driver doesn't get stuck, so it's pretty nice as long as you're careful. br>br>In short, I get the impression they hired a Sharper Image design artist, and I don't think that's the best way to go for a product that people will use.

Wowstick makes me "wow" in a good way
5/5

I have other battery-operated screwdrivers, but I chose this one because it is simple to use and comes with all of the bits you could possibly need. The battery life is excellent. br>br> The only thing I would change is the charging cable to be longer. If you work in the field of small electronics, you'll want one of these.
