Two were included in mine. The image is from the Dewalt website, and the part number is for a complete "KIT" that includes the tool, charger, and two batteries.
My profession is that of an electrician. It's great for finishing (plugs, switches, and light fixtures). I've got a conduit reamer as well. I've never tried driving a wood screw with it, but I believe it could easily drive a 1" to 1 1/4" screw. Three of them were purchased. One with a flat head tip, one with a phillips head tip, and the conduit reamer are all in my bags. They're fantastic, and I'd recommend them to anyone!
My kit only included a phillips head bit.
This isn't a screwdriver, so don't get too excited. It's a well-made electric screwdriver that works well.

The pictures on the internet are all designed to make it appear that this screwdriver is much smaller than it actually is. They make every effort to obscure the entire length of the thing whenever possible. It's huge in reality. It cannot be swiveled into a pistol grip, even though it appears to be able to do so. It's nothing more than a large, long power screwdriver. It's also longer because of the battery. There are a lot of places where I couldn't use this tool because I couldn't get in. br>br>While the gyroscopic feature is intriguing, you must still press a large button to activate it, and I have no idea why the button is placed where it is. Maybe it fits someone else's hand, but it doesn't fit mine; in fact, it works better for me if I hold the whole thing upside down, which is strange. br>br>As for the charger, what do you think it means when it flashes a bright red light? Give up? This indicates that it is fully charged. Stupid. Big red blinking lights indicate "stop" and "error," rather than "everything is fine, your battery is charging. " (Have you ever been to a train crossing? Who makes this nonsense? )br>br>Who makes this nonsense?.

I tried it on 1/2'' and it worked fine, but I haven't tried it on 3/4'' yet. I'll try to update this review once I do. Those who are undecided about the utility of the gyroscopic feature should not be. It doesn't take long for you to become accustomed to it. It's nice to not have to fiddle with the direction controls. I occasionally forget to switch back to forward mode after using a conventional screwdriver in reverse and loosen a fastener instead of tightening it when using a conventional screwdriver. I no longer have that issue thanks to the gyroscopic function. br>br>Screwdriving br>br>Screwdriving br>br>Screwdriving It's fantastic from a logical standpoint. Even the tiniest twist of your wrist is detected by the gyroscopic function, which adjusts the speed accordingly. Fine adjustments can be made, or a screw can be driven in quickly. It has sufficient torque to tighten set-up screws. screw couplings (but remember, this is a screwdriver, not an impact gun); You have sufficient torque for pipework, but not for driving a screw (into wood, for example). I haven't tried it on myself yet. I'm not sure it'll work, but I'm hoping it will. However, it wasn't built for that. Fortunately, if you need a little more torque than the tool can provide, you can twist it like a regular screwdriver to tighten it up a little more. br>br>I would give this tool 5 stars if it could ream 1" EMT better, but since I haven't encountered 1" too often in my career as an electrician, I won't give it a low rating. Overall, it's become one of my go-to tools, especially when paired with a waistband bit holder.
I saw a friend using one and thought it was cool, so I ordered one for myself. Surprisingly torquey (Is that a word? Grammarly accepts it. ) ) for an 8-hour shift the volt battery The flick of the wrist turns to power the device, which works beautifully. I haven't used it long enough to drain the battery, so there's no way to tell how long it will last, but with a spare battery included, that doesn't seem to be an issue. In my own case, this is a problem. I like it a lot and plan to buy a whole set of driver bits to keep in the bag to make up for the fact that the included bit collection is, at best, sparse. 1/4" hex bits are widely available, so expect some accumulation shopping.
This DEWALT DCF681N2 8V Max Gyroscopic Screwdriver has short bits and only one "side" per bit, so I'm guessing I've been spoiled by another brand. I've been able to carry only the screwdriver and still switch from phillips to flat blade by removing and flipping the bit with others: A switch that lasts one second I have to carry an extra bit(s) with this Dewalt, which reduces the convenience significantly.
I have no idea how this thing got into production. Except for the "gyroscopic technology," it's a fantastic concept. It is initially perplexing and in no way beneficial. They should've just used a forward and reverse switch like the rest of the house. Furthermore, the gyroscope switch appears to be acting up after only a few weeks of moderate use; at times, I can't even get it to move. Inferior tool at a astronomically high price. It's too bad because it has so much potential.
It works great, but I had a problem with an inactivation switch that got stuck in the off position by accident. It wasn't clear what had gone wrong, and it wasn't reactivated until I took it to a factory-authorized repair facility. The service technician said he had the same issue and had only recently figured out how to fix it. If yours suddenly stops working, carefully inspect the slide lock on/off activation switch. I would have given this product five stars if it weren't for this.
Screwdriver is excellent. Screwdriver is excellent. It takes a minute to adjust to the gyroscopic, but once you do, you won't want to use anything else. I had previously purchased three other dealt screwdrivers; however, this one was ordered by mistake, and I later discovered it was the incorrect model. The DCF682N1 is similar, with the exception that it lacks the 90-degree turn handle and has a conduit trimmer. The batteries are interchangeable between the two models, which makes swapping and charging when my crew has several on one job site a breeze. It's hard to believe how much torque there is.
