MILWAUKEE'S 2429-21XC M12 Cordless Sub-Compact Bandsaw Kit

The first thing I want to say is I am in love with Electrical worker, this tool is used for a wide range of tasks, from cutting 3/4 EMT to threaded Rods to thick gauge wire.
I like its small size. Wish the cutting capacity was a quarter inch bigger then it would easily accommodate 112" The Milwaukee Police Department claims they can make 150 1-inch EMT cuts per battery charge. Throughout my research, I have not found this to be the case. It would be amazing if I had 50 points. A few other issues with the tool include slow speed and a lack of features. There should be an option to adjust the speed a little bit so you can speed it up. All in all, a great tool and I really don't know how I have ever survived.

I'm not clear in the description about the batteries that come with it. You receive one and a second one. A full charge lasts six hours). The batteries should be 6 Ah or smaller, and there should be spare blades available. You need to keep the blades away from the center of the chamber, since the space that'll be occupied by the motor when it closes must be free. The "9 Ah" battery made by a third party and sold here on Amazon might be more suitable if I need more power. The case might be able to be modified to accommodate a larger battery. Besides the extra blades pictured, you will receive everything you see. My picture shows the extra blades I ordered, but you will receive what you see. Unlike any bandsaw on the market today, the M12 bandsaw can be operated with only one hand. The safety rules at the site I work at are very strict. In addition to the rules that apply to a hacksaw, the same applies to a one-handed saw.

We give this a 4 out of 5 because the manual lists a 10t, 14t, 18t, and 24t As far as Milwaukee is concerned, they only produce/offer It is not easy for me to use other larger portable band saws as they are set up with switches for right handed use only. I'm left-handed, so this tools's hand position is somewhat awkward. In order to allow for straight cuts, the aluminum guard over the cut area extends a few inches above the black surface and is also configured at the same angle as the blade (maybe I'm crazy, but I don't like how the black bed is situated at a 45 degree angle). The blade shadows and light is tracked around the cut and create a line at the cut point (smart engineering/design). *Love the veriable speed trigger for a gradual start to light This battery comes with a great warranty of 3 years for the unit and 5 years Priced at just a buk fifty five, it's definitely the best deal until now. There is a charger attached to the inside of the case along with the cord of the saw, and the case is big and heavy. A Velcro wire manager was wrapped around the cord to keep it tight. I wish they had included one in the box as cords are always in the way when storing things.

Subcompact and weighing about six ounces, the tool has a small footprint. The weight is seven It operates on 12 volts, so is substantially slower than 18 volt saws of the same size. When the motor is operating on 1/2 EMT, it is still struggling. Despite Amazon's complete omission of this information on its website, the included 18 TPI blade has a roughly welded spot that jumps every time the blade moves. Other features include a 3Ah battery, a 3" LCD screen, and an 18 TPI blade. As far as power and speed are concerned, the subcompact concept is nice, but 18V systems offer a whole lot more This one is likely to be returned.

The device comes with a charging cable and a case. My memory is hazy as to whether one battery was included or two, but I know I got what I expected. Extra blades were the only thing I didn't receive that I had hoped for. Yet, this band saw made my life so much easier, I almost didn't know where to start. The day I spend cutting pipe is mine as an electrician. Rather than having to grab a corded sawzall or shake my hand off like some other guy, I no longer need to grab the big ass on the tripod. I couldn't be happier with this thing. Cuts up to 1 1/4" The tool can also be used to cut threaded rod.

Good tool. I'm very happy with it. The most important thing to me is the weight, so I can use it with one hand. I would definitely recommend.

It is by far one of the most rewarding purchases I have made. A small business is owned by me and I specialize in handmade products. In the past, I used a bench top stationary cutoff saw 4 1/2 inches because it was fast and handy, but I hated the fumes it gave off, along with the residuals of smoke that are left on surfaces after I was at a loss for words until I found this powerhouse of a saw. It is very accurate and you can cut at whatever speed you like. A package deal of case, machine, battery, and charger for as low a price as this is incredible! I have been searching around for the best deal and I have found it! Exactly what I was looking for I value this tool at $1 million because I won't have to use cut-off wheels anymore, and I'm not going to use the cut-off wheels.

The bandsaw I have is amazing! There are so many things you can do with it on the jobsite. A way to cut pipe in the air and to cut cable without the use of Furthermore, the saw does not make a lot of noise in comparison to reciprocating saws.
