Rather than spending your money on that model, you should consider purchasing this one for the same price, because this unit is made with more metal. On the motor section, there appear to be cooling fins. I spent half the amount to fix the saw as I would have spent for a new one. looked for an alternative and was able to buy this Dewalt DWM120K model for the same price as the Dewalt DW328. I don't know why they have two models with the same price. The model DW328 should be included under the B and C range. The brand name is D. In my opinion, the DW328 is a good product.

This is a good price for a DeWalt product, especially for a band saw with deep cuts with the features it has. I mounted this saw in a SWAG V3. A Portaband table combined with an 0 in. vertical band saw is a great combination to have a 0 in. band saw that is well constructed and versatile. With its built-in LED light as well as its own switch, the integrated vertical saw works excellently. The variable speed on the saw works well for what I need and the blade speed can easily be maintained. It has an adjustable handle so I can grip it comfortably in three positions if I wanted to use it as a hand held portable. There is a good warranty on this product, and it appears to be well made. It would have been nice to have a trigger lock for the SWAG table but I use the Harbor Freight foot switch to turn on the trigger, which can switch 20 amps, and a velcro cable organizer to keep the trigger on. I just wanted to point out that some of the images are cutaway views and that the bottom drive wheel is solid unlike If using Olson Saw AC70010 Saw Blade Lubricant or BOELUBE Machining Lubricant, don't forget to apply extra lubricant around the machine.
