It's made in China, to be sure.
It is extremely light. I am a 57-year-old woman who recently used this sander to sand down an entire dresser with no issues. It was extremely effective!
I did not purchase the sander; I am not the seller. The size, as well as the papers that came with it, were mentioned in the description. I went to Lowe's and purchased what I required. I've used a lot of sanders, and this one is the best. It's what we use to get ready to paint our house. Half of the sanding pads were not even used.

I WAS HESITANT TO PURCHASE THIS SANDER AT FIRST BECAUSE I ALREADY HAD ANOTHER BRAND, BUT IT KEEP CUTTING OFF. AND I REQUIRED A DURABLE, WELL-MADE SANDER THAT I COULD FIT IN MY SMALL HANDS. IT HAD TO BE SMOOTH AND ABLE TO SAND A RANGE OF MATERIALS. AND I COULDN'T AFFORD TO BUY A PREMIUM BRAND. I WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH; THIS SANDER CAN COMPETE WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE SANDERS ON THE MARKET. SO FAR; THIN WOOD, THICK WOOD, METAL, CLAY, PLASTIC, AND MORE HAVE BEEN SANDED BY ME. AND THIS SANDER WAS THE ONE WHO DID IT ALL. AND ESPECIALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO ADD. I'M OVER THE MOON HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE AND WOULDN'T CHANGE IT FOR ANYTHING! BELLA IS HER PERSONAL NAME. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, AND SHE HELPED ME SAVE MY HAND.
My other power sanders would have taken off more than I wanted no matter how careful I was, and it was too much work to do by hand, but this little champ sped right through it, exactly as I had hoped. br>br>It's tough, has a long heavy-duty cord, and is easy to hold for long periods of time. It's surprisingly quiet (most in this price range are quite noisy) and the included pads are nice. br>br>I bought this for a specific job and didn't expect or plan to get much else out of it, but I'm pleasantly surprised and it now has a proper place on my tool shelf.
Yet another fantastic sander! This was used to refinish a bedroom set.
It was perfect for my homemade wooden tray. It helped me get rid of excess glue from joints.
I was sanding the old, painted 90-year-old wood trim around my new home with an oscillating tool with a sand head attachment so that I could fill in the holes, cracks, and dings with wood putty and prepare it for painting. To put it mildly, I was a tangle of messes and annoyances. I bought it because of the low price and the fact that it produces significantly less sanding dust and is slightly lighter. The cord can get in the way, and because of the angles, it's too big to fit around some of the trim and baseboards, but it's faster for the most part.
I used this to sand a wooden chest table that I wanted to stain, and it worked fine. However, despite the little attached bag, there was still a lot of dust all over the place, which I suppose is normal. Overall, the Sander worked well; I just wanted something light and simple to use.
It's extremely durable and of excellent quality.
