There is a lot I love it. There is a lot I am a heavy equipment mechanic at Komatsu, and my tools are regularly used. The price is definitely worth it. Delivery in a timely manner.
The product is not used very often, maybe once a week. Time will tell whether or not it was a good purchase. This impact is still working after over 4 years! *UPDATE* - 6/27/19
After over 4 years, this impact is still going strong! On the Cummins ISX, I just did 26 90 degree turns on headbolts that were installed with 300 foot pounds of torque. My jaw dropped when I saw that.
I do not think this is a good machine, LOTS of power. AS A MECHANIC IN THE INDUSTRIAL WORLD, THIS IMPACT IS everything I have needed and more.
With this bad boy, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. If you want to get the most from this tool, you should use a 1/2" airline with 125lbs of pressure. Make sure you have oil on hand.
Though we have only had it for a very short period of time, it has exceeded all of our expectations. Our farm recently purchased a new disc and we had to replace the blades on it. It must be challenging to do that! Our 2nd step is to put our minds to it. A 25-inch deep socket was put on and the job started. I am certain the AirCat will be a keeper after all that it did!.
The shop in which we tear down machinery uses this tool. is designed to be able to pull bolts out of burnt out or rusty agricultural equipment with its plentiful power. Repair experts who work with agricultural equipment and construction equipment will find it very useful.
The price seems to be fair for such a good product.
