The 20 volt craftman Bolt-On tool is included with this item, right?

Basically, they are the same tool, so it would fit as long as it's a 20 Volt.

My craftman multitool has a micro switch. You can reach us at There are 12 volts in the battery. Do you think this will ?

Angela, I apologize for the inconvenience. There is no answer to that question for me.

I have a lot of blades that are closed at the back, not open as in the picture. Will they still ?

The blades are hard to find
3/5

Good luck. As for the tool itself, if you own the matrix, it will work like any other oscillating tool available. There's a big issue I'm having with this tool when you find yourself in need of replacing whatever blade it comes with, you'll have a hard time finding anything that fits. It seems that all "universal fit" blades I've encountered claim to be compatible with Black & Decker, but in reality, this is not true. Now that I've returned a pair of socks that did not fit, I'm ordering my second set. We are the B&T The D3 brand is a 3-inch screen There are only three pieces of wood in the $15 pack Blades that have only been rated. Between $20 and $30 is the price of the universal sets Priced at 50 cents and usually at $1 to $2 They don't fit the blade, and there are 2 per blade. Based on what I know now, I should have spent more money to buy an oscillating tool with a universally compatible head system, since the cost savings on this stuff won't outweigh the cost of the blades over the life of the tool. It is a bad design by B&W Specialty blades of this type are difficult to find, with little choice in blade size or blade type. It's $15 for a single blade made even for a Wood and Metal rated tool like this. This is unacceptable. In the unlikely event that the blades I purchased today don't work out, I will abandon the tool and replace it with something that I can actually get This issue leaves me very disappointed.

It is required that the holes on the blades are round (not oval or slotted)
3/5

It is disappointing to discover that the Matrix attachment only accepts blades with round locking holes, rather than those with oval or slot shapes. The common-sense guidelines for completing this form were not followed Blades branded with the company name. You can see how perfectly circular it is You can look around for blades with the same hole shapes as those that are shown in the attached photo, and then incorporate them into your purchase.

While I purchased it to handle small jobs, it appears that it is capable of handling larger ones as well
5/5

While I purchased it to handle small jobs, it appears that it is capable of handling larger ones as well. It is time for us to During this project, I organized everything from the demolition to the modeling of the kitchen. Please understand that this was no small job. It's great to have such a tool available. Through plywood, drywall, 2x4s, and nails, I was able to cut with it. The blade that came with the axe allowed me to do all of this. My beef is with the blade provided. I don't believe it was Due to the bluntness of the blade, I had to push and shove my way through a lot of cuts, but I made the cuts in a respectable manner. This tool has one downside in that replacement blades are not available. One "universal" blade that I bought from HD didn't match my machine. There was another brand and another "universal" blade available at Lowe's that looked like it would fit this product, but that as well did not work. It is therefore possible that you will have to purchase.

The blades can be attached to other styles of blades, making it a versatile tool
5/5

The purpose of getting this was so that I could do some work on the outside of my house and not have to deal with an extension cord all the time (I already own a corded circular I thought this would be a simple solution, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and realized I wouldn't have to stick to only using the quick-fix-only option Be sure to lock the blades or heads. Furthermore, there is the option to use universal blades with a bolt-on system. It came without the retaining bolt and plate which are needed to keep it in place Under the quick-release mechanism, it does have the threaded receiving block You can release the With this, it turns out to be much more versatile than I realized when I bought it, and it means I don't have to buy new blades or heads when I just need to use these for quick stuff. The mounting lock must be locked in place.

You should not even consider it Blades that use special materials are used
3/5

As it turned out, the blade that came with it didn't work at all for my very small project. "No problem," Let me just go out and purchase more. ". "Nope" was the reply. There is no store in the area that sells these blades Neither the big box stores nor the grocery Black + Decker has opted out of the universal, interchangeable blade standard used by all these other oscillating tool manufacturers. In the past, I've considered taking advantage of the MATRIX systems system and getting an oscillating tool that can be driven by my drill, but the cost of buying overpriced replacement blades online is not worth the headache.

As long as limits are met, it is good
4/5

Consider that you are acquiring an attachment to make your drill behave like an oscillating tool, which is a compromise. Although it functions and does its job fairly well, the blade changes can be a bit frustrating, the blade it comes with is absolutely useless, and the drill heats up pretty quickly when used. If I keep it in my hand too long, it gets so hot I am worried I'll damage the tool. If you only intend to cut through a bolt or two, it is fine if you are cutting through more than 3 With the battery still intact, you can play 4 without your hand getting unbearably warm and the battery dying. The tool will cut through most materials fairly well if you just make sure to let it do its job. If you plan to use it on drywall or wood, disregard the above line since it chews through both One other problem I found was that it is all plastic. After a few uses cutting toilet bolts, I noticed that the joint piece was wearing off and part of the plastic cracked and fell off near the front bolt. It was cosmetic, but still annoying that rubbing on smooth porcelain was so uncomfortable.

There is nothing I love more than There is nothing I love more than The unit I have is cordless, but there is a plug-in version, as well
5/5

My first purchase was the sander attachment and I should have done a bit of research before purchasing it. Simply purchase a sanding attachment for your oscillating tool attachment instead of buying the oscillating tool In this unit I did use my rockwell oscillating accessory attachments as well however, they were too large for the pegs, but the clamp made sure they were out of the way. On this model, you can change the accessories very quickly. While it may not compare to my Rockwell Sonicrafter, it is a useful addition to the matrix set and is a good machine for lighter jobs.

Slowly, but it did what it was supposed to do
3/5

Undercutting door frames is crucial for laying vinyl plank flooring, so I purchased this tool. This tool was used with my matrix drill that I already had. Use of the tool can be a bit tricky. I found that cutting in a plunger cut didn't really work I had better results using it in a sweeper cut. This flattens the battery pretty quickly as well, which slowed up the game. Rating 3. 0 out of 5 The movie wasn't bad, but the quality wasn't that good either. It may have been better to have used a hand saw, but cutting around the bottom of a door frame is a difficult task.
