I'm a do-it-yourselfer, but not in the way you might think. I only purchase high-quality tools from companies like DeWalt, Porter Cable, Makita, and others. I bought this DeWalt multi tool for my second home, which I was remodeling, and it saved me hours, if not days, of time by cutting through nails, siding, sheetrock, and a variety of other materials with the proper blade. My first one had a single speed but was variable, while this one has three speeds and is variable. What I didn't realize was that I was missing out on something important. My very first multi-level marketing campaign I ditched the corded tool in favor of a cordless one. I noticed after I bought mine that the crew who demo'd my deck used the same tool to cut off the old screws, so it's very useful for a variety of tasks. For good use time, a larger battery (4Ah or more) is required. Very easy to use, light - I'm happy I bought it.

On Sunday, my go-to Dremel died. When I dismantled it, I discovered a broken solder connection to the variable speed switch. Normally, I'd fix it, but it was difficult to get to, so I decided it wasn't worth the effort. br>br>Since I already had some Dremel accessories, my first instinct was to buy another Dremel. However, I'd always been dissatisfied with the Dremel's performance, so I decided to investigate other options. I looked at every make and model and read every review I could find. I went with the Dewalt, and I'm glad I did. For the first time, I put it to its full potential today, and all I can say is that I'm glad I went with this one. It's well worth the money, and knowing what I know now, I'd gladly pay more. br>br>I adore the fast-paced nature of the game. feature to be changed It makes a huge difference not having to look for and fiddle with an Allen wrench when changing blades. And the Dremel accessories fit the Dewalt. br>br>I haven't had a chance to see how long the battery lasts, but the fact that it's interchangeable with my other Dewalt batteries is a huge plus. br>br>I do have one gripe, and it has to do with the bag. I'm not a fan of Dewalt's new policy of providing bags instead of hard cases with their tools. I liked how the Dremel's hard case kept all of the blades organized and in one place. The Dewalt leaves everything loose in the bag, and the tool only fits diagonally with a blade attached (and the blade catches on the bag's material). Aside from the bag issue, it's a fantastic tool.

This is an order of magnitude better. The only complaint I have is that I prefer Bosch blades. When it comes to using Bosch blades, the Dewalt adapter is useless. It's not a big deal, so don't worry about it. Everything else is a ten out of ten.

I'm not sure why I didn't buy one sooner; I've had a corded one for years and mostly use DeWalt tools with a lot of batteries. br>br>I can't think of anything I don't like about this tool. The blade loading and removal are excellent, the grip and balance are pleasant, and the multiple speed settings and variable speed trigger are extremely convenient. With a quality blade that is the right fit for the material, there is enough power to chew through almost anything. The included battery has a long runtime and aids balance and maneuverability in tighter spaces or for longer periods of use without becoming fatigued. Of course, all of the other batteries in my possession work as well. br>br>As far as value goes, I'd say it's excellent. I prefer to shop on Amazon because I know I'll be able to return items quickly and easily. Other sites may sell the same kit, and I've purchased from them, but I felt more confident that I'd get what I paid for here.

This was a fantastic deal for me because I got it for a great price. It came with everything you need, including the tool, charger, and battery, as well as a carrying case. Although I'm disappointed that DeWalt has switched to these bags rather than the old plastic hard cases, it's still a good bag. The tool is fantastic, and if you don't already have one, you should invest in one. It's ideal for small, quick cutting jobs, and it's also ideal for undercutting trim when laying down flooring.

This was purchased to replace a Rigid corded tool that had an inconsistent tool attachment method. I purchased a Dewalt because I already own Dewalt chargers and batteries for other tools. I wanted to get rid of my cords. br>br>The tool performs admirably. Blade insertion is simple to set up. The motor is very powerful. It has a good cut. Wood and nails are both acceptable materials. I strongly advise you to read it. br>Please keep in mind that I experimented with various blades. For wood and nails, someone advised using a Rockwell blade. Please see the link below for more information. This blade, combined with the Dewalt tool, speeds up light work and jobs. br>br>.

I've been putting off getting one of these for a long time, and it's now one of my biggest regrets. While it won't be able to take the place of the specialized tools we all carry in our bags, this little guy is ideal for small jobs or cutting in tight spaces.
