If you're reading this, you're probably already aware of what it does. The gun itself is very nice; the only issues I have with it are two. br>br>For starters, it only shoots up to 5/8" long staples, which isn't ideal for construction projects. rite or foam sheeting, and second, staples and caps are difficult to come by locally. Aside from that, it's great for wrapping houses and roofing papers. br>br>If I had to buy again, I'd probably look at the Bostitch; it appears that caps and staples for that one can be found almost anywhere. But because I've never used it, I can't say much more.
The gadget works flawlessly. One would expect something that performs such a complex task at such a high rate and power to jam frequently. Rather than a, a is much more dependable. I used to own a 45 automatic.
Yes, staple hammers are faster, but there's nothing like standing on a 7 pitch and knowing your underlayment won't give way or your tyvek won't rip in the strongest winds. There is no such thing as a trade-off in the world.
I couldn't even get through the first clip of staples before the stapler broke. No good. It got stuck in the machine. I cleared the screen, it jammed, I cleared the screen, it jammed, and so on. This is a piece of garbage for which I would not pay even a penny.
Great gun, small and compact, and seems to last longer than the Bostitch. Caps and fasteners can be difficult to come by locally, but they're relatively easy to come by online, and this system holds up better than any other cap system I've tried. The package arrived in excellent condition and was delivered faster than expected. If the reliability or durability of the product becomes a problem, I will update my review. So far, I've given it 5 stars.
