I installed 1400 square feet of siding and it worked fine. In order to prevent dropping the gun on the floor, there needs to be a hook
For more specifics, I suggest you check the manufacturer's site, but based on the tool cards for both machines, the AN appears to be slightly heavier. My AN came with a bump trigger installed and a sequential trigger in the box, but I do not have an A5. There seems to be a rafter hook on the A5 According to my information, the AN does NOT come standard with rafter hooks, and that an aftermarket hook was needed to install. There is also no mention of the AN being further limited to two Platonic collated fasteners can only be 1/4" long (as opposed to wire welded nails which can be 3.5" long). It is possible that the A5 won't have a similar The dimensions and driving power of the cars are probably the same, if not the same. A few of the reasons I use my AN are for siding and sheathing, but I am a little disappointed with its lack of

There are cons The release trigger must be replaced if you wish to use it as a single shot gun (no bump nailing). Two nails are in excess on this unit, which is way too many double taps. Since it fires about 40 pulses of air a minute, it sounds like a mini gun without nails, so it uses significantly more air than is necessary. A trigger linkage problem seems to have occurred. You usually need a regulator on the compressor if you'd like to control depth very well with the power adjuster. My siding nailer from Dewalt would have been a better purchase had I spent a few more dollars on it. There is no other brand of siding nails that we will use. The pros are The nails can be up to 3", good weight distribution, and this nail bed can be adjusted for different nail lengths. A design that allows the exhaust cap to be adjusted.
When I use this gun, I drive 2 1/2 inch ring-pulls Drive 5/8-inch nails into Hardiplank and Hardiplank A 30-inch plywood and a 30-inch plywood The year is A frame from the past. Nothing can ever go wrong or fail with it. Neither the lower-left nor the lower-right buttons have ever been used Despite the high price, I read the reviews before I bought. Tolerance for misfires and jams was not an option for me. There are many troubles you might have to go through to save some cash. They are among the many things that could prevent a job from going well I can resell this gun for a lot more than I paid for it once I am finished. This seems like a terrific bargain, doesn't it? Don't forget to tune up the air pressure and tune up the gun before using it for any real work and your gun will be a faithful companion. My heart hurts.
The nailer I used was for hardee cement siding installations. When I first started using it, the nails bent, but once I got used to its proper use, it saved me a lot of time.
My brother has been a roofer for over 20 years, so I wanted to give him this as a gift. His satisfaction is high and he says the quality is great, as with all the Hitachis he owns, and it is a lighter model for the framing he's been doing.
It's powerful and it's very reasonably priced. For building fences, I mostly use this material.
The gun that we have here is a must-have when installing cement boards.
The program does what it is supposed to do. Metabo / Hitachi is known for its quality, so it's trusted.
The service is always excellent.
