This is an excellent resource. if it completed the task at hand I used it on a small project involving the assembly of a few boards. All of the boards were strewn about and misaligned. Regrettably, I chalked it up to my lack of familiarity with the tool. So I did some more research on how to use it and tried it out on a variety of different types of wood. There has been no progress. It's a piece of equipment. I also tried a variety of cookies - Ryobi, in particular. No luck. This is a bummer because I had missed the return window by a few days when I tried to return it. What a colossal squandering of resources. Without this device, I can align and join wood more effectively. Either the company's workmanship is poor, or I received a faulty item. A video of the amount of play in the biscuits is attached.
Easy to use and adjust; however, I would advise anyone using it to test where their cut will be by measuring height, distance, and other factors with a scrap piece of wood before using it.
Check for alignment to ensure that the two pieces are perfectly aligned and that the two pieces being joined are not offset. This was not the case, according to a review. The problem has now been resolved. However, if the alignment was off, I was prepared to return it. If it's off, there's nothing you can do about it. It's an error on the part of the manufacturer.
He's already put it to work on a few projects around the house!.
The product was damaged or defective from the factory, and the fence would not lock, rendering it useless.
This was purchased for my adult son as a present. He says he's used it on a number of projects and that it's been extremely useful. It was a hit with him.
This tool appealed to me because it includes a power plug. In addition, I own a battery-operated device. This tool is useful, but I have to be very careful with it because it loses power after a few hours.
When he received a Ryobi tool, he was overjoyed. My son inherited his late father's Ryobi tools, so he knows how to use them. He'll put the biscuit cutter to good use as he builds a dining table for his home. A planer is his next tool purchase.
