As long as I keep my compressor regulated at 100 psi, the tool appears to work really well and has no bogging issues. My knowledge of the rpm's is very limited, but I think it's close to what it's rated at.

As part of my rebuild, I am removing all of the unused components from the Dana 44 front axle. In addition, I removed the inner Cs for the reason that I'm going to set the pinion angle and the caster angle later on. Specifically, I want to scrub the inside of the axle tubes to remove the rust. The only tool I need for this is an extended die grinder. The Jet unit I got is well-supposed to be extremely powerful, which is why I chose it. In this case, I put a wire brush wheel into the collet and it removed rush very quickly. It includes a manual as well as collet wrenches. The only thing you'll need is your air hose nibble and some air tool oil to start out. One of the downsides to this tool is its loud noise, which is much louder than things I have used in the past.
I found a used one here and decided to give it a shot. It has proven to be a handy little tool to use for prepping pin bores and other surface preparation.
I really like how it works. Having the ability to handle torque is a plus.
Very well done.
A very high quality product.
For long bores or anything else that needs power to grind, this is the best grinder! There are way more balls in this one than a basic grinder, so it's the same price! It looks to me like the shaft's extended energy is causing it. You need a grinder if you're polishing or if you're doing anything that requires balls.
