The parts included with both Astro products have held up well and are excellent quality. It's not the first Astro product I've bought, and it won't be the last. My new set of bits are fantastic. I use them on steel and stainless and they haven't worn out. I bought a second set of bits so I can keep my aluminum bits and steel bits separated. I think the grinders themselves do a pretty good job. It has been demonstrated that they can get a little hung up and not spin, but manually spinning them and pulling the trigger seems to fix this problem. Furthermore, the collet on the straight body tool was difficult to loosen, and both wrenches it came with were broken before I could get it loose. The wrenches I made out of thicker 1/8" material and left a little more material on the sides of the wrenches have held up fine. I wish they had shipped them with adequate wrenches to begin with. As well as not overtightening that tool, I am more careful. Previously I shared it with my girlfriend for use on a stainless steel project she was working on and forgot to emphasize the importance of not overtightening. I had a difficult time releasing The collet assembly is still covered by the one-year warranty, so I will return it to Astro for service to see if the collet assembly can be replaced. Very pleased with the Tools were delivered to me on time, there were no delivery problems. As expected, I got exactly what I wanted. My only reason for leaving this four stars is because I have to adjust out the adapters (wire wheel, hub buffer, standard 3M pad) continuously. I did not have any vibrations with the ingersoll Rand die grinder I've had for many years.

While it is true that the straight die grinder does not have the ability to switch rotations, I was aware of this before buying it, so it still gets a 5 star rating. feature is more of a benefit for a grinder that will be used as a cutting wheel, and it costs a lot more money.
