Don't let it pass you by. Using it for light duty cut off is what I do with it. One eighth inch is all that is necessary.

Fits 1/4 inch but not 1/2 It took a lot of force to force 1/4 inch shank flap wheel into the rim, and then I couldn't get it out again

I know what a mess this is. I was able to get it out and open up the collet, and now I am still not happy with the situation.
