The chuck on the one I bought is 1/8 inch collet, not 3mm. Some of the first ones that the company sent out were 3mm thick. The issue has now been resolved. This tool is fantastic!
Working with this tool is not a problem if the bits are 1/8".
Yes, indeed. Fill the inlet port with a small amount of air tool oil, reconnect the air supply, and press the trigger for a second to blow the oil through the air motor.
A compressed air cylinder is what I use. I buy this from AirGas and work in a lab, so it's simple for me. It produces a very consistent flow and is quieter than most air compressors when used with a regulator. When you consider the cost of electricity to run your compressor, purchasing a compressed cylinder of AIR and using it is actually quite affordable. Something to take into account.

It's uncommon to come across an item where a low-cost alternative outperforms a high-cost alternative. But the performance of this pneumatic grinder astounded me. I bought a Dremel 9100 for home and this for the shop. This one is lighter and easier to maneuver than my other flexshaft tool because it runs cold, has almost no vibration, and runs cold. And it costs around 18 of the price. However, it requires a large compressor storage tank in order to run at 2 cfm. However, I'm blown away! It was well worth the money.
I just got it, so I can't comment on how long it will last, but it works well and feels solidly constructed.
It appeals to my tastes.
It is very good and easy to use.
The collet is 3 mm and will not fit 1/8 inch bits, but it appears to work fine.
This pencil grinder replaced one that had been in my possession for 18 years and had finally given up the ghost. It's of excellent quality and ideal for fine detailing and small jobs, but it's not as bulky as Dremel grinders. They consume a lot of air, as do all die grinders.
This product has made me very happy.
This is an excellent tool that I use on a regular basis and it lasts a long time.
