Questions & Answers

It does not say that a wrench is included in the list of included items. The grinder blade can be put on or taken off without a wrench, but how does one do that?

My first reaction was to look at the 4 holes on the lock flange to see what they are talking about, and they all looked round to me as they were on the chamfer from about 6 inches away. Having attempted to use an Allen wrench with an 8mm Allen wrench, the first attempt went into one of the round holes, thus I believed this model did not have Allen wrench provision. So, I ordered a spanner wrench from Amazon, but it is too small for Dewalt grinders. When I looked closely at the holes once again, I noticed that two were for Allen screws. The lock flange of the case has been closed. There is still work to be done in mine.

I have a 43113, can you tell me what the difference is between the ?

There are different sizes of With the 43113, the display can be up to 5 inches, and with the 43116 it can be up to 6 inches. In both cases, there is no tool required for Thus, if the price is the same, you might as well buy the 43116 as it is

How do I cut concrete pavers with this grinder? Does it require a depressed diamond disk? Do you mean a diamond wheel with a flat surface?

The choice is yours, but we recommend that you use a depressed diamond disc (hub wheel) if you use a grinder. In this case, the flat disc serves as a shaping tool.

In what ways is the D28115 different from this one?

It does not appear to be a In place of the D28115 (discontinued), the DWE43113 replaces the D28113.

Selected User Reviews For DEWALT Angle Grinder Tool, 4-1/2-Inch to 5-Inch, Trigger Switch (DWE43113)

The user interface is intuitive and easy The Dewalt 4012 model was in my mind when I went to a large chain box store in the region to buy an angle grinder
5/5

In any case, once I picked one up and saw how fat it was and how awful the paddle switch was, it went back onto My first impression of this model was positive after checking out the other models. There was no fumbling with the switch at all, it felt very well balanced, and it felt very comfortable in the hand. Despite the store price being $60 more than competitor 4012, and $30 more than Amazon's 43113 model, they refused to price match because Amazon uses third parties and they had no idea what they were getting. I then took out my phone and called the clown, er, clerk, who told me that I could purchase it from him. A couple days later, I got it. As well as the grinder, the package included a short owners manual as well as a 6mm hex key. Due to the 40 degrees inside my barn, I did notice that the power cord is not made of the typical plastic that gets stiff in the winter. This one was very flexible, and it did not disturb me while This is a minor complaint, but it points out how good the tool is. A type 29 60-degree installation was performed It was centered exactly inside the large guard, which meant that the flapper wheel was perfectly in place. An adapter key designed for 6mm hex keys works very well to tighten and loosen grinding wheels, and no spanner wrench is necessary (or provided). A rusty piece of angle iron is being worked on. There were sparks flying, and the steel was left very shiny. The power is plentiful. I love how easy it is to control and how well balanced it is. A type 27 wheel is perfectly integrated into it, as is a type 29 wheel, and it will probably also do a type 1. Thanks for the upgrade, glad to spend the extra $30 over the 4012. I'm very glad I purchased this model instead of the 4012.

Upgraded to the new version! Despite my use of DEWALT tools over the years, I have been very pleased When I decided I needed a new grinder, I decided to give this one a go
5/5

My favorite feature about the lock on is that it makes it much more comfortable to use it for extended periods of time. In addition to using the Allen key to remove the grinding wheels, I prefer to use it to remove the wheel. My only complaint is that I wish the Allen key could be held in a spot, but that is the only issue I have with it! The old style guard is much easier to change, and it can also be removed with ease.

A great grinder with plenty of power
5/5

A long body on this grinder allows the user to get great control and a lot of power. The weight is heavy, but I believe it helps me to gain I’m not a big fan of how hollow the handle is. If I had to choose, I would have gone with a metal one with a rubber grip, just.

There is a place for it
4/5

Although this one is great if you have a lot of open space grinding to do, I prefer to use my older design that has a side lock that handles tight spaces well, but MSHA doesn't like it.

This is a good tool I'm not sure how normal that is for a first-time grinder, but it does get pretty hot
5/5

However, I am 100% satisfied with everything else. I used it to cut, grind, and sand wood and have been satisfied with it so far. Although it doesn't have the fastest spin, it's a tough machine.

The quality of the product is good
4/5

There are no problems with the grinder. With the power it has, it can accomplish the task. The tool would have been more useful if it came with a hex wrench.

Keep hold of it, it's a business deal! There is something here that looks like an animal
5/5

When you have a lot of heavy cutting and grinding to do all day this machine will scream at you. It is not designed to be light duty, so it cannot be quiet nor will it not hurt. You can hold it in a multitude of ways due to its small body. Whenever I can find an excuse to use it, I remember the 461 I have. It is awesome!.
