I'm thinking I'll stick to the tried and true. After seeing some really cool glue guns in some crafting videos, I decided to get a new one. br>Well, I'll give you that this thing is cool. However, it appears to take a long time to warm up (pun intended). It takes a long time, like a long time. I'm still not sure what to do with the LEDs. Also, it appears to have a hard time grabbing the new sticks when you insert them. I tried heating the end of the stick to essentially glue it to the stick in use. Also, for the first few times I use the new stick, I push it into the gun pretty hard. If you're in desperate need of a new glue gun, this is the one to get. It's just that it's not as good as the few from the 1980s and 1990s that I have.
This little guy gets hot at times, and replacing or removing the stick of glue after you've finished using it isn't always easy. BUT, believe it or not, it works, and it works well. If you're looking for something inexpensive and quick to arrive at your door, I recommend this little guy. I've used it several times, and he'll be staying with me until he dies, despite the aforementioned complaints.
I'm a crafter, and this KMC Hot Glue Gun with LED Light, 60/100W Full Size Dual Power is the glue gun to have. It heats up quickly and stays that way, and it has an extra light for when you need to see what you're doing when you glue. The full-size glue sticks are what I use. Just the glue gun you've been looking for.
I previously used a Walmart glue gun, which worked fine, but this is far superior in quality! It's simple to use, and I believe it will last me a long time! Anyway, I came across this video about it on the internet and think it's a great review!.
Works well as a standard hot glue gun, but the low temperature setting is far too hot for the purpose for which I purchased it - Styrene and styrofoam were glued together. As the styrofoam melts, it releases gas, which causes the bubbles in the photo. The craters show how the styrofoam melts after I remove the hardened glue blobs. Purchase a better glue gun if you plan on hot gluing styrene or styrofoam.
This glow gun was required for my home decorations as well as art projects for my local church. It's an excellent investment. What more can I ask for when it does its job well and at a reasonable price?.
There are plenty of extra glue sticks on hand. Simple to work with. It is supported by a stand. The cord is quite long.
