Questions & Answers

Hello, good afternoon. Does this kit work with 220 volt electricity? I'm from Chile; all I need is confirmation and assurance that I'll be able to use it in Chile. ?

The carrier is 110 pounds, but you can buy a 220 pound carrier separately in your area, which is what I did in my own country.

Can 3ah batteries be used by older people?

Older batteries can be used as long as the style and voltage are the same. Go for it if you have an 18-volt battery that fits.

Is there a 220v 50Hz option on the charger? Can you suggest a voltage converter if this is not the case?

No, you'll need to convert it if you want to use it with 220v (it's cheaper to buy a charger from a country that uses 220v).

Is this a Japanese hammer drill?

It was created in Chaina.

Selected User Reviews For Makita XT269T 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 2-Pc. Combo Kit (5.0Ah) with Extra BL1850B 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery

constructed in the manner of a tank; Quickly charge batteries; a lot of power Makita is known for producing high-quality power tools, and this hammer drill/impact driver combo kit is no exception
5/5

The kit comes in a sturdy box that is neatly packed. The hammer drill (yes, it's a hammer drill), impact driver, and two 5-inch impact drivers are all included in this set. 0 Ah 18- volt Lithium ion rechargeable batteries, a charger, two metal belt clips that attach to the tool bodies, and a tough tool bag to store and transport everything. br>br>I have an older, less expensive Makita drill and impact driver set, and this one is built like a tank in comparison. These tools are well-made and appear to have been built to withstand a lot of use. Both tools are a little heavier with the battery installed, but not by much. The hammer drill's chuck is nice and tight, but it's easy to adjust; there's no side handle, but with the power and solid grip this tool has, it's probably not needed. However, I'm surprised that Makita doesn't include a side handle at this price point, as they do on some of their lower-cost combo hammer drill kits. The impact driver has a variable speed and plenty of torque to handle any job. Both tools have a bright LED light that automatically illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed and turns off about 10 seconds later when the trigger is released. The charger is simple, charging only one battery at a time, but it does the job well enough, and it has a fan that blows during the charging process to keep the battery cool. In under 45 minutes, each battery is fully charged. The batteries not only charge quickly, but they also have an LED indicator that shows how much charge is left in the battery at the touch of a button, which is a very useful feature. The tool bag is constructed of heavy-duty fabric and features a solid zipper closure. The bag has plenty of room for the tools, batteries, and charger, as well as any drill and driver bits you may bring. br>br>So, apart from the heavier construction, what you're really paying for here is the brushless motor in both the hammer drill and impact driver, as well as the 5. Lithium ion batteries with a capacity of zero volts per hour. Brushless motors have fewer moving parts, run cooler, are more efficient, and adjust torque according to the work load for longer durability. Makita was the first company to produce cordless tools with brushless motors, and other companies are now following suit. Brushless motors are more expensive to manufacture, which is why they are more expensive to buy. Similar drill and impact driver sets are available from Makita, and they come in three different sizes. 4 and 0 Ah 0 Ah batteries are less expensive, so if you don't use tools like this all day, one of the lower-cost sets may suffice. However, if you want your batteries to last as long as possible before needing to be recharged, you'll want to get these 5. 0 Ah batteries are used. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic combo kit that I'm glad I purchased. You probably don't need a combo kit with the build and battery life that this one has if you're just a DIYer or only do woodworking as a hobby. This Makita combo hammer drill and impact driver set is well worth consideration if you are a builder who uses tools like these for a living, or if you believe in paying more for higher quality tools and crying only once. br>br>I make an effort to write product reviews that are both informative and entertaining. 5/5

This Makita XT269T 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Battery was purchased. Brushless Cordless Ion Ion Brushless Cordless Ion Brushless Cordless Ion Brush Combo Kit (5 items) 0Ah) because it came with a spare battery and my Makita XT260 18-volt cordless drill. Lithium-ion battery, volt LXT After 5 years of heavy use, the brushes on the Ion Cordless Combo Kit were worn out. This new combo kit is heavy-duty and comes with a carry bag. The batteries are newer and last longer than the ones in my previous combo drill set. The drill and impact driver are both lighter than previous versions, making them easier to use all day. br>I buy Makita tools because they are long-lasting and affordable, and this kit is no exception. It is something I strongly suggest.

ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME
3/5

Having grown up in Cambodia, I found this kind of seller on the amazon platform, so the worst one obvious should be a perfect product, I'm looking forward to it, bought it over $140 through international operators send it to countries of Cambodia. After its packaging, received it a It's still being worked on.

For the past 20 years, I've owned a Dewalt tool
5/5

After using a Dewalt for most of my life, I finally went to the store to get a new one and was overwhelmed by the number of options. After conducting extensive research, I discovered that many people did not enjoy Dewalt drills as much as they had in the past, so I decided to try a different brand, and the Makitas have proven to be a dream. A new brushless drill is a world apart from the drills I've used in the past. There's a lot of torque in this thing! I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll keep you updated on its long-term viability later.

Two lemons were given to me
3/5

I bought this for my husband as a present. Unfortunately, it was faulty (the speed-changing gears did not work properly). He had no choice but to return it. So. We placed a second order because this was the one he requested. Well. Unfortunately, the second one had the same issue, wouldn't you know? As a result, we returned it as well. For the third and final round (oh, no. . ) Makita isn't going to be a problem this time. Festool will be our choice. Makita's quality seems to be a little uneven lately for some reason. So be cautious.

The battery life is excellent so far, but I wish the impact driver had better speed control
5/5

It's still as fast as a speeding bullet. With the battery attached, it's nice and light and well balanced.

These drills/drivers are excellent
5/5

These drills/drivers are excellent. It was time to upgrade my Makita, which I'd had for over 25 years. br>For the price of one, I got two. Each one is equipped with its own power source. br>br>Both have excellent torque and fine speed control. They're small, light, and extremely versatile. br>A lot of bang for your buck!.

Everything I could ask for in a drill and impact driver
5/5

At work, I had the opportunity to experiment with a Makita impact driver and drill. I was so taken with them that I had to get my own set. They haven't let me down, and the battery life indicator is a nice touch.
