I received the product on time, but when I tried to use it, the motor did not work. Even after reading over the instructions and following the troubleshooting steps, nothing has been solved. A major project was in the works for the weekend, so I was very disappointed. It turns out that this is not an unusual occurrence for this item based on the one star reviews. I didn't expect the best quality for the price, but one would think it would have prevented this occurrence if this company's quality control was present. The Bostich name really soured me on it. I will never purchase any products from them.

The unit is much smaller than what I needed, so I ordered it to run my nail gun for my grandkids' playhouse project. The guy I found was quite portable, not heavy at all, and easy to carry. Once it had been fired up for a few minutes and I had adjusted the regulator pressure, I hooked it up to my Hitachi NR 90AE(S1) nail gun and began to nail. Nails of 3 1/4" can be shot without any problems. There is only one challenge I have faced in getting the pressure in my regulators When I hook it up for the first time, I turn the handle so that the pressure is 90, start nailing, and then turn off the machine If the pressure went down to maybe 30, I would start all over again Then adjust it once and you'll be good to go. if you leave this setting, the next day it will not be as it was before. The compressor I have is quite good, but I have a few complaints. In response to those who wonder about the noise level, I can only say that the compressor makes noise. It also came with a Brad nailer that my wife uses to build bird houses, as well as a 16 GA finish nailer that I have yet to test. I give it a thumbs up.
Neither of the finishing nailers that come with the package have been used, but I will update my review when I get around to using them. As I mentioned earlier, I have used my framing nail gun quite a bit and ran an entire box of nail strips through the gun, and every nail went in without any problems. This compressor is definitely worth a try!.

My support team provided me with shipping details for sending it back for repair the very same day. With no hassle, I gave a brief description of the problem. The nails guns do require a bit of adjustment before sinking the nails properly. The compressor is light weight, and the nail guns are very good. In my experience, some nails did not sink entirely so I spent 15 minutes fiddling with the psi settings on the compressor and the adjustment on the gun until they sunk perfectly. So far, I am very impressed with the set (I've only had it about a month and I've already used it often). The bostitch Brad Nailer seems to be very good too. I have a hitachi 18 gauge Brad nailer that I love, but I am rapidly coming to love the bostitch version We were able to buy the set for an unbeatable price. We would buy this set again if it were to wear.
