The smallest diameter to which these clamps can close is how large? As you can see in the pic, the band does not appear to be notch-free throughout. ?

Notches do stop, and the smallest has an inner diameter of 3 1/2 inches.

How wide is the band? The product details state a width of 0.67 inches. About 1/4" in depth (approximately 2"). There is something very narrow about this. ?

A band with a width of zero can be found on the left. Five and a half inches (one and a half inches)

If so, do the clamps open up completely so they can be wrapped around pipes, or does the threading stop at the end, so that they need to be placed over the top of pipes?

How big is it exactly or do you think there is room for ?

Thanks for the great advice. Just got a new set of clamps today. If you unscrew the clamp while keeping all the threads engaged, the inside diameter of the tube is 4 inches Item size is 7/16 inch. My hoses are just far enough away to allow me to slip onto them.

Considering the low price and the fact that you'll only be securing one, these are a good choice

The price is good, and you only need to fix a tube once with these. Tightening them is a bit of a pain. The first ones went on well, while the second ones skipped a few of the teeth. Overall, it was a very good experience.
