Powertec's hose clamp does exactly what it says it will it locks the 4" hose in place once tightened. There is a possibility that tightening can be a bit difficult due to the housing and worm drive's length. In the picture, you can see that its housing is shorter than that of another manufacturer. This causes the tightening key to be closer to the clamp band and hose and is likely to interfere with its operation.

I did not have to cut it down to size to work with it in comparison with the yellow generic one. I had to disassemble every time I wanted to remove it or put it back on the generic one (not Powertec) because it was too small even though it stated it was 4" in diameter.
Those are good if you move a lot. If I lived in a place with little mobility, then I would purchase the ones with the nut drivers, since they can be tighter.
