When I tried to clamp blast gates to metal dust collection pipes, sometimes I couldn't get enough torque with my fingers for a secure fit. Using one of these, I attached some clips to a pipe, holding a tool in place. clamp worked perfectly. I unscrewed it until I could open it and put the pipe around it. It was simple to reassemble. I would highly recommend this clamp. By twisting the green knob clockwise and threading the band back into the clamp mechanism, the clamp is engaged. It is important to have extra clamps because I only needed two of them, but they work so well I am glad I have them.

I like how well they're made and how easy they are Steel bands come in handy when I need to swap a hose between a couple of machines. Since I sometimes need to use the same hose for multiple machines, it is nice to have a tool that can be used without a lot of tools to do this.
