It is much easier to buy things online than in a physical store, as it is with a number of purchases. To get a specialty item like this, one would need to drive over an hour to get to the closest business that has it. The dust collection system does not have to be permanent for them to be effective. The dust collection system at my lathe is only used when I am sanding something since it takes up too much space otherwise. While they are lighter in weight than wire clamps, they are just as effective.

This makes connecting and disconnecting my dust collection 4" hoses a breeze, and it's a great price as well. It is recommended that you get some of these if you want something durable and fast to put on and take off.

The money you spend can be put to much better use

I am happy to use these clamps as they work quite well and don't require the use of a screwdriver (sonic or otherwise). It seems like they're well made and will hold up well. A total of five are included It is possible to get ten of them for about the same price This product gets five stars for quality and does not earn five stars for.

This is an easy way to disconnect

I bought this for my new tool. Having to disconnect two outlets for my jointer and my planer was a necessary step. This application is an ideal fit for them. When I want to move my planer out of the way, I can quickly disconnect the cords. With just a few turns of a thumbscrew, it can be easily disconnected.

The 4" dust collection hose is not compatible with this fitting

I have to agree that it did not work well with 4" dust collectors. It is too tight to even fit over the hose, and it sits snugly directly on the fitting over which the hose is supposed to go. In addition to loosening the clamp completely, I also verified it was fully closed. It's a real disappointment!.

This is easier! It's better now! Let's move faster! As opposed to standard clamps that require a screwdriver, these are so much simpler to use.
