These filters were bought for my small shop vacuum to replace the old ones. Foam elements are not tapered, so they leave a small gap at the bottom of the items. To resolve this issue, I used one of the rubber bands. Compared to the original, the paper element is thicker. Due to the fact I haven't used it yet, I'm unsure whether it will reduce suction or not. My favorite part of using the rubber bands was the difference from using the original plastic rings. The next time I purchase, I will definitely do so.
Compared to OEM foam filters, these are relatively small and feel cheap they are also not as thick as the OEM ones. The one I had on my one was ripped when I was trying to get it on. A little guy who is a couple years old uses this stove for heating. This item was a good value, the foam sleeve fit perfectly, and the paper over the sleeve filter kept dust to a minimum.
