Questions & Answers

What is the most effective method for cleaning these filters?

To clear debris from the inside of the collection drum, tap the filter in a well-ventilated area. Make sure to inspect and replace any torn or damaged parts. Using a hose or spiget, spray water into the filter. To avoid damage, make sure the water pressure is turned down. Before vaccuming again, let everything dry completely.

Will this fit my WD09701 model?

This filter should fit your shop vac, according to my research. My situation is similar to yours.

Is the filter paper papery or a little plasticy in thickness?

Plasticky in some ways

What is the height of the structure?

I'd have to take the filter apart and measure it. I bought a Rgid part and model. It will not fit the shop vac unless it is modified.

It's cheap, and it's a lot better than trying to clean one
5/5

I should just have these delivered on a regular basis because they're so good! I'd like to try the reusable wet/dry version, but it's more expensive, and I'm not interested in cleaning a filthy filter after it's sucked up dirt and junk. Depending on the type of material you're vacuuming, these work well. Large chunks of dust tend to get stuck in the pleats, while fine dust slips through and shoots out the air vent thingy. It works fine for vacuuming gravel, grit, and other debris. br>They're also very simple to set up. My vacuum cleaner isn't a shop vac. This size filter is used by a different company. Simply unscrew the thumb screw that holds it in place (bonus points for being fingernail-friendly). friendly), remove the old cartridge and toss it in the trash, then replace it on the spindle and tighten the thumb screw. Easy. Picking up the vac motor part to install this is the most difficult part. It's a colossal amount of weight! However, getting started with the filter is simple enough. Before putting the filter on and wiping out the entire unit, I empty the collection bin of whatever is lurking there. I make every effort to keep dust and debris out of the house. This could take weeks or months, depending on how often you use your vacuum. When I got this, my previous one was about a year old and had seen a lot of dirt, grit, and sanding dust (like from plaster) and was pretty much shot. Because most of the heavy work has been completed, this filter should last a long time. br>Definitely a good deal, and I'm so glad I don't have to go to the hardware store because it can just be delivered!.

Please double-check the size; I typed in the model of my Rigid vacuum cleaner
3/5

I placed an order for the filter that goes along with it. As usual, I made my purchase. To big. I stayed away for far too long. I placed an incorrect order and had to wait an excessive amount of time for it to be delivered. Please double-check the height requirement of your filter.

Too costly; it functions adequately, but someone stands to profit handsomely
3/5

Consider an oil filter for your car, which you can get for $3-$4 at Walmart. 5 and add a small amount of additional paper, probably around $. 05 to $0. This is a con that applies to all filters, including the one you buy to "Filer" the water you put in your refrigerator. And they all differ, so you'll have to buy theirs in addition to the cost of a central air paper filter. Consider this scenario:.

Replacement part is identical to the original, and it fits perfectly
5/5

I own a RIGID 5-year-old computer. HP, 12- a shop vac with a capacity of one gallon I ordered these because the local stores didn't have replacement filters. They are EXACT replacements of original quality at a reasonable price, and they have been improved to eliminate the need for the older style retainer plates. You can clean the shop dust and debris out of the filter and use it for a while if you're in a hurry.

Due to a warped seal, it does not seal to the vacuum
3/5

Because it is warped, this filter does not seal and thus does not function.

With some elbow grease, it will fit
4/5

Our Ridgid Wet/Dry Vac must be around 20 years old, and despite the fact that the old filter had been cleaned, I decided it was time to replace it. Then I came across the filters on Amazon and read the reviews, and I decided to give them a shot instead. My husband had to use a little elbow grease to get the filter into the vacuum because the bottom was more oval than round. We didn't have to buy a new vacuum because it fit perfectly. It's always a good idea to start with Amazon.

My vacuum requires a VF4000 filter, and this is the new OEM part
5/5

This is the updated universal OEM part. br>br>It is designed to work with units that have a ball or threaded stud. br>br>Place it on if you have the ball stud type. br>br>If you have an older model, such as mine, do not use the filter cap. Thread the nut on snugly after inserting the filter. br>br>On the packaging, there are clear instructions.
