In order to prevent dust from entering the bag, when it is changed, the lever closes a flap over the inlet hole. The feature is well worth the price, as it helps to add value to the bags.
Certainly, since that's what I had in mind when I purchased them. I haven't actually replaced my original one yet, but it looks like it should work.
There is no need to keep them.

These are a great bag and will work well in the Festool Mini vacuum, but be aware that the Fesstool Mini 2 uses a different bag. It was so hard to give 4 stars because it is a nice bag at such a good price. Taken one away for not excluding the mini 2. The description should be expanded to include the mini 2. There are part numbers for the vacuums, but who the hell really remembers the part number for It is just as simple as that.
There are 5 mini 1 stickers in this pack. There's something odd about this.
Make sure this is the proper bag model for your Festool dust extractor (better be I ordered my own dust extractor after the dealer sold me the wrong ones, so I went home and ordered it myself on line) I am so glad to have the dust so well collected and retained. ONE of the GROUPS was a complete mess, but the other two were a mess A tab that should rotate across the opening after the full bag has been removed did not exist in five of the boxes. The bag was in two boxes (ten bags) before I found a box with the closures (despite the illustration on the bag's cardboard panel). To tape across the round opening, you need a tape gun. I'm not sure who you can contact to ensure the rotating closure on yours will actually work. I wish you good.
These people are dirt bags, which is why I like them.
