Craftsman General Purpose Vacuum Filter, 3 To 4 Gallons, 9-17810

In order to be a nice husband, I went to the garage and grabbed it. It seemed heavy to me when I removed the base, but after I found out why, it was really light. Since the filter was so filthy, I was surprised it didn't catch on fire. I needed one quickly so I picked one up at the local store, but I also bought one from Amazon so that I would have a spare. She should not risk catching a sinus infection from all of the dust and germs she sucked up with her vacuum cleaner if it means cleaning out the filthy filter. A brick and mortar store's price is actually higher than what you can get on Amazon. I rated it 5 stars because it is a good filter. This replacement filter is a great option I think this will be a lot more durable and easier to clean than the previous system. Normally, you want to brush out the pleats, shake and hit them to remove dust, and then put them back in a few seconds. I eventually replaced the old filter because it had turned brown by the time I bought a new one. Even though it started out bright white, I didn't even recall that it was. When I bought this new filter, it has made such a difference. Since I stopped running it every time I run it, my vacuum no longer smells like dogs. I was also surprised at how much cheaper it was than I had anticipated. If not sooner, I'll buy a new filter sooner next time. 15 years in, maybe 5 years in.

A really old Craftsman wet/dry vac on wheels will do what I need for car cleaning, it's small and its powerful 3 HP motor is perfect for cleaning cars, etc. Its filter is cheap and it fits like OEM. You can clean these to an extent, just bang the dust off of them every few months, or whenever you open the vacuum and dump out the garbage. Also included is a $$ hepa filter for those who are more clean-conscious. I believe this filter change will last a couple more years.

Would you mind telling me what you have to This kind of filter is about as good as it gets when it comes to its type. This part was originally made by the manufacturer, so it fits & works perfectly It does its job perfectly. There might be a "super filter" out there that would be better than this. It is possible that could be the case. It might be a better filter & possibly a faster one Is it better for the 6 points would be worth it A star. We need to get past our fantasy of a super-powered world I guess this is as good as it gets when it comes to filters.

Since we were flooded in Louisiana we had to replace the filter on our Craftsman shop vac. We've been using this a lot recently as well. We have found this purchase to be very valuable. You should also dump the waste out frequently and blow off the filter if you are using this equipment for building repairs or building construction. The lawn blower is what my husband uses to blow it away.

A few days after I cleared out my vacuum, the one inside disintegrated. So, I bought two at the price of one. There was probably no more than 8 years old in that picture. Having seen the replacement yesterday, it looks good and performs exactly as described. The one in use works perfectly as it should.
