I am generally pretty happy with DeWalt accessories and tools. It would not turn after its second use, however, because the smaller size drill bit guide seized up. When driving in screws, I prefer to use spinning guides since they make it easier to control. You can't use it if it doesn't spin, so it defeats the purpose you bought it My message to DeWalt went unanswered while I waited for their response.
Those who are experienced DIYers or pros might not find these indispensable, but I have created a new favorite assistant. It is now easier for me to start the screw in the right spot and to drive it straight in the first time. Tasks that used to be frustrating go faster and more smoothly now. Thank you for making these available. Wish I had come across them.
There is an ability to only handle so much they are not made to break anything on a vehicle, but the value for money of this item is just incredible. As far as durability goes, I've dropped it over twenty times and it hasn't broken. The device doesn't break and I use it every day. I highly recommend this product!.
In a lifetime, I have owned several tools from DeWalt that have performed and lasted more than many other brands. The leather belt in which a local carpenter carried this item guaranteed its quality to me while I had not asked. I bought it right away after finding it online. This kit is nice. The bag is easy to carry and store. Quality you can trust from Dewalt. You can count on this tool to work and last as long as my other dewalt products. I used to spend more on lesser products in the past. It is easy to This product is perfect for any size family. Make it the first thing that you reach for when you get hungry in the kitchen.
It has been many years since I last used this type of extender. My replacement had an integrated magnet and a lock to secure the bit in place, so I bought one when I lost mine. We've got a new version with both, and that's what you're looking for- I am telling the truth.
The finger being pointed at is Using a saving drive guide kit will not stop you from using your vehicle It is "off". You can't go wrong with it! The short guide in my actual DeWalt kit finally wore out after over 3-plus years of frequent use. So I decided to purchase this set to replace it. The assortment also includes a longer guide - making it ideal for learning. Fasteners in deep recessed areas are easy to access with this tool. All the bits come in the kit are short, but I can still use a 2 inch bit and have the slide hold a fastener just fine. Although the slide lock case is durable, it cannot hold the long drive guide. It is a huge engineering design mistake, and it is my sole reason for rating the product 4 stars. Here is my brief summary A small Velcro strap was attached to the outside of the case to secure the long guide (a common "box store" item), and this fixed the problem. The holder should be placed against the rubber slide lock when wrapping to prevent slipping. All the information is readily accessible when everything is gathered together. Occasionally, I swipe the metal guide shafts with a used candle after they have been soaked in water. In order to keep the slide residue, the wax is used. Free and in perfect working condition. It is a common grade bit, like others, and will wear out over time. Even so, the drive guides are quality items and will be able to perform their duties as required. Even with the guide storage issue behind me, I have just purchased two more sets to give as.
I have needed these for a while. I could not go wrong with DeWalt and Amazon.
I just can't say enough about this tool. It is a necessity. I removed the keeper because it made the tip difficult to remove since it was magnetic, so there was no need for it. An A+.
