Using a tile saw water pump like this is pretty basic. You can connect the pump to the small water hose and put it in the wet tray, then cut the tile.
1/4" is the size of the tubing.
The pump was only made to pump water, I'm sure. There is nearly nothing but plastic in it as well.
In this case, I think we're talking about a small water pump The hose I use is clear and is available at most hardware stores. At a hardware store, you should be able to buy any fittings you need in plastic or brass that will suit your needs.

I love the way it works. I installed the app immediately after receiving it and tried cutting my first tile. It worked well. You can literally plug it in and go.
Exactly what I was looking for when I replaced the pump on I wish it came with the tubing I needed to go with the pump, or at least stated it as a suggested item. I really like it, but wish it shipped with the tubing too. However, the pump is great!.
