Questions & Answers
We are using it to remove one, two, or three layers of VCT from concrete, but it won't work on ceramic tiles. Our guys have had to resort to chipping hammers to remove 1/4" ceramic from concrete for several ADA restroom projects.
This is not the case. Operating the machine, which is pushed and guided from the rear, requires pushing and guiding.
The tool can be used, but it isn't right for the job. Take a rotohammer with a 5" blade and pound it into place.
It moves forward when you push it.

In a nutshell, Due to its cost, I purchased it to save money on monthly rentals. 125 pounds of the goods were shipped in a crate. The tracking showed that it was in town so I picked it up myself since it was faster. With the exception of the handle and weight, the machine is pretty much intact. A cable connects the handle to the electrical outlet and the cable is tightened with a knob. There is a weight that connects to the front of the wheel near where you attach The unit didn't come with a blade so I purchased two, but later ordered two more to be on the safe side as the task at hand was big. Our task was to scrape up a commercial tile floor with this scraper it got the job done quickly and effectively. Particles or dust that gets into the motor housing at the top of the unit is the only issue to watch for. The sound you hear is the sound of anything that gets trapped in there when the motor is running and it's difficult to take It is generally a very worthwhile tool to buy, unless you have a small job in which case a rental might be a better option.
I saved a lot of time and money by purchasing this item!.
A great way to get rid of 1 Laminated tiles made up of three layers. The machine is very ergonomically designed. Excellent purchase. Very happy with it.
It just isn't good enough to do the job. Although well made, this machine won't work unless you have tiles that are poorly installed or were just installed. I would have a $1,000 paperweight if I could return the object.
The roof was sprayed with foam and I had trouble removing it. I did not expect it to work, but I wasn't surprised. It is a good product, however, it was not what I was looking for.
A MK Scraper machine was rented for floor repair work. The trip had to be rescheduled. The same job was carried out with a Crain power stripper. I was very satisfied with the result.
